You keep contradicting yourself. Spending needs to be maintained to progress. You can’t just add on past spends and average it ffs get a grip. Last winter actually was zero and I said almost zero over the last two consecutive windows which isn’t selective it’s the actual last two windows.
Great to keep the stars but to progress you have to add to them, that’s backing to succeed not to stand still or more likely go backwards.
2 wins in 11 is selective wumming in a season of 18. What about your own point of viewing the whole season hmmmmm? Contradictory again

You said you have to continue to spend. We haven’t in two consecutive windows but you say that doesn’t matter. Which is it? Because they are total opposites.
When the two windows are consecutive it doesn’t help that continuation to invest so it’s not selective it’s totally relevant. 11 games from 18 isn’t especially from someone claiming a whole season needs to be looked at

He has been backed and I actually never said backing has to be continuous.
It will be and has been continuous though... it's just the fact he's already had everything that was available.

You said to progress you have to continue to spend. We haven’t for him. He hasn’t been continuously backed. Two years ago is no good.
The fact that there might not have been anything available is irrelevant. If you are backed you are backed, if you aren’t you aren’t regardless of the reasons for it
How can it have been continuous if it hasn’t always happened, that isn’t continuous which school did you go to?
He's had money throughout his tenure and also not selling key players is backing. He's been backed to the maximum value possible and that has been continuous.

Seems to me that we had £70M to spend and haven’t. So, if we had £70M to spend and didn’t then he hasn’t been backed to the maximum possible.
