Head of Reading Post says deal has been delayed by Saints, perhaps now pursuing other options, it's known we don't like our deals in the public press.

I'm not moaning at you. I'm simply saying this story was first heard yesterday.
I've also said how nothing is true until it is official on the OS.

Most of our dealing are done privately which is what I like about the club now. No big publicity <ok>

For all we know that Reading paper could be as 'reliable' as the Daily Echo <doh>
 
Really hope it's not deal over - Brain would bring a decent balance to CM with him being naturally left footed.

Barnard and Puncheons deals were all in the press beforehand , and I don't believe Cortese is that touchy about it all.
 
Did you all miss Lambo robbing Pearce on Saturday, that was pretty swift, if you think Lambo cannot shift take a look at the third goal in the JPT final.
 
Well I'd just like to thank DTLW for posting this on here, as I don't go on 606 anymore.

To those complaining about it - how boring (and pointless) would this forum be if we only posted news that had already appeared on the OS? If there is any place for transfer rumours to be discussed, this is it. And if you see any rumours, whether the source is considered reliable or not, why the hell not post the link on here?

Anyway I hope this one happens. It would be a decent signing.
 
I dont think it's the fact that he posted it, more the manner in which he wrote "here's what I'm hearing this evening". It was as if he was ITK, and had some insider knowledge, when in fact he just read it on 606. Had he posted "this was on another forum for those who haven't seen it" or words to that affect it would have been better imo.
