Quite a fair few I'd imagine. Our away support shows our true core of fans and as we have some of the best away fans in England, there is your answer. Your petty insults don't really have any force and it just adds a bitter taste to your post which isn't really needed and it's unfortunate that your petty insult is the thing that draws people to your post.
Is this the same.fair few who couldn't fill the bridge in the 80's?
I'm not bitter I've been a long suffering hoop since the 70's and will be till I die, I just hate plastics whoever they follow
Kentgaz--I abide in the same county as you and have been a lifelong Chelsea fan. By that I mean I have been both a season ticket holder and a member going back to 1959. I find upsetting when people make comments as you have on the subject of Chelsea having what they describe as "plastic" fans as its so easy to trip off the tongue! I have been in crowds at SB on a number of occasions in the 60's when the gate was in excess of 60k. I was at the FA Cup replay against the Spuds when we had a gate of 70k+. All clubs attract new followers as they go down the road! Chelsea didn't have me until April 1959 when I turned up to see them play Everton, but they've had me every day since , including several seasons when we were in Div 2.
Please do not assume those people who are passionate about Chelsea are there for any other resaon than they've fallen in love with the club that I did many years ago!

Interesting thread guys! Still waiting for 'London's Only EC Winners' to admit he was wrong after significant taunting last year that the same would happen and was repeatedly told it wouldn't happen.

Shocking result against Swansea, should have got points off Hammers. Other than that pretty par for the course against most of the top 10 and including impressive performance at Spuds. Of course it can't go without saying that we are the only side to take a point off the league leaders and champions of Europe who are able to boast individual players costing more than our entire team, and have been built at massive cost over many years.

Our team has been thrown together in a short space of time and have a defence that has been savaged by injury. I'm not in the least bit worried as we enter a period of playing lesser teams and a team starting to perform. Very premature thread and hope you can be humble enough to say so when proved wrong as I will if the unthinkable happens.

It's just an opinion. If you are proved right or wrong no one has to apologise to anyone. It is banter. Grow a pair or stay off your rivals board and don't let wums get into your head.

So sing along now .....A D M I NISTRATION la la la la la ADMINISTRATION la la la la la

It is just banter, Ranger 74. You seem like a decent poster, so my advice to you is don't take it personally like Ellers and Northolt do.

We leave Channel 5 to the Spuds and Dippers.

The champions of Europe and league leaders are on ITV tonight. And we know you'll be watching and hoping the best team in Europe lose. I could not even tell you who Qpr played at the weekend.

Banter never bothers me but its a two way thing? Nobody needs apologise for saying stuff, however..... in the same way as I and many other Rangers fans were able to contribute and recognise Chelsea becoming European champions its seems beyond most to recognise what a stunning achievement ours was in staying up.

In my original reply I also made what I feel is a well reasoned argument as to why we'll be ok.

On paper we probably did towards the end but we effectively gave all the other teams a headstart while Briatore ****ed about haggling with Fernandes and missed out on all Warnock's transfer targets, thus bringing in absolute dregs like Gabbidon, Bothroyd and Dyer and trying to pick up results with Patrick Agyemang up front.

As for it being no more than harmless "banter", LF had a massive bee in his bonnet from the game at Loftus Road onwards (a year ago today I believe, happy anniversary everyone) and was absolutely desperate for us to go down to have a chance for a bit more of a gloat. There were endless threads and snide comments predicting our demise to the point that it was quite clear he had an agenda and wasn't the happy-go-lucky utility wum we all know and love.

That's exactly the point though Drogs. We weren't playing teams down there, our run in was a nightmare! Nobody gave us a hope yet we beat arsenal, spuds, Liverpool etc all who have massively better squads.

Pinchazo doesn't really mean prick in the manner you intend. Usted is also a bit formal for an insult and I'd use 'ser' over 'estar' but it's nice to see someone bring some culture to this futile debate.

if Tony F goes the club will have big problems in Div 1. Their crowds are poor in the Prem; worse crowds in div 1 will not support that wage bill. The fact that only 1,400 are going to Old T shows that Rangers fans do not believe in MH and TF
