Ruddy is a big loss, but I can't see it getting us relegated. After all we have Mark Bunn in reserve not Scott Loach!

QPR are on the brink of setting a new record, taking over from Swindon for the longest winless run at the beginning of a Premiership season. If they fail to win at Wigan next weekend it's theirs for the record books.I think their 5/7 on for relegation looks quite generous actually.

Pardon the intrusion but for what it's worth I'm delighted to see you guys doing so well and I don't think there's any chance you or us will be relegated and I don't want you to either.

I can't say the same for QPR though, I better not put my feelings about them here in case children are reading. Everything about them is horrible and that's being mild.

Looking forward to our game next weekend and a safe journey to any of you travelling to Swansea

Think NCFC and Swansea have a mutual hate towards QPR lol

I have respect for Swansea, because like us you stuck with the players you got promoted with and didn't change your entire team with individuals has been players. We're both building a team for the future where as QPR is for players to earn their final pensions.

Swansea are playing some nice football, can't really say the same for NCFC, but we're doing all right.

Here's hoping we both finish in the top 10 and QPR to get relegated.

I must admit,I'm surprised people don't think Ruddy is that big a miss. I think it's really bad news to lose (probably) the in form goal keeper in the whole league for six-eight weeks. Mark Bunn has shown himself capable and reliable, but if we're being honest, Ruddy would have saved that goal for us. Bunn couldn't do much better, because he is not that big and he certainly made some other cracking saves, but with Ruddy it was a clean sheet and no panicky second half. In the end, it makes no difference, but I suspect we'll miss out on probably three points in total by the time Ruddy gets back- and that's to take nothing away from Bunn, he's just simply not as good.

Spot on. Bunn won't let us down but won't pull out amazing saves like Ruddy.

I really like the swans. Both of us are doing well, your squad is better than ours as you have spent the Allen / Rodgers money wisely. Michu must be buy of the transfer window
Ive a suspicion our run will end next week - remember the 3-0 in our promo season at the liberty?

I reckon say Ruddy is out till end of February, he will miss games against... Sunderland, Swansea, Villa(LC), Wigan, WBA, Chelsea, Man City, West Ham, Liverpool, Spurs, Newcastle, QPR, Fulham & Everton.

He will return to Man Utd, Soton, Wigan, Sunderland, Swansea, Arsenal, Reading, Stoke, Villa, WBA and Man City.

He will make his return when we start to hit probably the important games against the teams that will probably be around us and could be a timely boost to the squad were we to be down near the bottom!

We are building a really substantial lead over the bottom two and it's a sure thing that at least one of the six above them will hit a bad patch.I reckon we need 19 points from the 23 games remaining.Doable.

People seem to have forgotten that even though Harry "rescued" Spurs from relegation he took Saints down and bankrupted them in the process.

    Good luck with that QPR.

Probably bankrupted Portsmouth too with all the players he brought in on high wages. I think it's too late for QPR now. (I hope anyway lol)

    Another thing Ipswich supporters.

You normally get a bouce effect when a new manager comes in and for a period, things improve. Your "bounce" has been very mixed and I wouldn't start counting your chickens before they have hatched if I were you, you still have a carp team.

See Martin o'Neil and Sunderland for a recent example of this.

I think Ruddy is a loss for you and that's therefore good for us next week. That said, Bunn really impressed me v Sunderland where the opposition really should have got something imo. My mate is a Canaries fan and I told him ages ago that you'll be fine this season but he wasn't convinced about your Manager. He's stopped moaning lately.

I rarely wish relegation on any club but I really don't like QPR. That lot are the only ones we still get the old "Why are you in our league?" crap from. I'm sure they do have some decent supporters too. But I've little sympathy with rich foreign owners who are usually in it for kudos in their home country and don't have any real understanding for their toy or respect for the fans (see Cardiff - also owned by Malaysian speculators). Selling virtually the entire team that got you promoted? You reap what you sow.

Should be a good game next week but I've got the feeling we'll put the Canaries hoodoo to rest next week. Rumour has it that Hernandez and Routledge are both back (they didn't play at Arsenal).

Safe travels if you're coming down. <ok>

So i take it all thoughs have been scoring goals for fun. I dont think so. What Swansea and Norwich have are a team not 11 individuals.

I hope that both Swansea and Norwich survive and of this i have no doubt. Then i hope QPR dont. they have spent stupid money on average over the hill players and hope they will fit into a team. Doesnt seem to be working. Hope it doesnt either.

I really appreciate QPR. By comparing their actions with that of Norwich (or Swansea for that matter), it really makes me appreciate that I support a club with values that align with my own. Its tough being a football fan, because you are kind of married to the club you select, and that club may go in many directions. At the moment I delighted in the direction Norwich City Football Club are going.

Also, remember everything can change tomorrow so don't be a smug bastard. QPR fans pay heed.

I think that last line is poignant for one and all.

I read this thread with interest, not only from a rivalry perspective (cue jokes about us not being rivals as you and the Swans are not in a relegation scrap...... or even worse relegated :s) but also to hear your thoughts about our current plight and where it went wrong for us.

I take on board there has been plenty of 'smugness' from some QPR fans so I guess the 'I told you so' threads were bound to come.
At the end of a day it's 11 men V 11 men on the pitch, well unless you've got a poor discipline record like us.
You can have 11 men costing 50 million a piece, doesn't bring success or mean they will play as a team.

It's a bitter pill to swallow what is currently happening to us, but as a life long supporter of QPR I have seen darker days and will continue to wear my colours with pride irrelevant of the outcome.

I think it's quite clear that the majority of you want us to go down, whether that be because of the ribbing/boasts on Not606 or because of how our club is currently being run, but I hope that we can disappoint.

Plenty of time for us to put some points on the board yet, good luck with the rest of your season.

To think I searched for @HaveQPRWon on twitter :embarrassed:
