Morning Col. That's one of the problems with humility. Almost by definition, we don't get to choose how it is packaged up for us or what the medicine tastes like.

Personally, this whole fiasco has taught me to be a bit more cautious over my footballing expectations in the future.

As I've said previously, folks I work with don't really care about football (but they are actually being very kind at present which is moving) but just chatting to one over summer who asked how we would do this season. I stated with supreme confidence we would be fine without the problems of last season. I was sort of right - our problems are worse than last year. Oh well.

    Morning chaps,
That's it RTID, got to take your medicine ain't you.
I was thinking about that post Saturday night, so when the Norwich gloater was bumping old threads, I thought I'd help! ;)
It was a silly post .

Not really North. I can only name three of their players and wouldn't take any of them. It's the manager that's our problem, not playing personnel.

It's both mate, we have some bottling lazy tarts in our side at the moment. Hughes fault they're his signings, plenty of attitude all of it bad, the contrast in the QPR & Norwich 'team' performances Saturday was telling. I think we're ****ed with these players, new manager or not.

You what? Would you like to review this?

I would suggest removing the word "best" and replacing it for the words "dog ****"

I thought Flyer was supposed to have been constantly saying our squad was bad and our signings sh*t prior to the Season starting?

Good luck to Norwich and Swansea. What they have done up until now has to be admired IMO. Both clubs are similar sized to ours and their fans, like us have been put through the mill for the last few years. I can't really understand the angst that we all seem to share, other than being three promoted clubs together. ( I'll make an exception for col and Norwich. )

For me it is all about taking down the plastics of Man U , Citeh, Chelsea, Arsenal and the Liverpools of our football world. When a normal team gets one over on them I love it. ( Like the Swans did v Arsenal. ) Real David and Goliath stuff.

Fair play to the real fans of real teams, we all go to the games and have suffered at some point. Some more so than others.. a-hem.
So when they get their moment in the sun... Good luck to them. ( I just wished it was us :emoticon-0106-cryin )

    Apologies,

My mate is a QPR fan and was winding me something chronic pre-season and rubbing your "world class" signings in my face everyday. Saying that we (Norwich) would be cut adrfit by Xmas and you would be top 6.

I guess I was being a bit immature, sorry about that.

I suppose it was an easy mistake to make. And if we are being honest it has been Hughton's signings in defence that has made the difference. If it had not been for Bassong,Garrido,Whittaker and Turner then I am sure we would have been down there too.
