How we can qualify!

Not sure if I am being optimistic or realistic here but I think we can get out of the group.

This is how I can see it going:

Ireland:
Lose vs Spain.
Draw vs Croatia.
Win vs Italy.

Total points: 4

Spain:
Win vs Ireland.
Win vs Italy.
Draw vs Croatia.

Total points: 7

Italy:
Win vs Croatia.
Lose vs Ireland.
Lose vs Spain.

Total points: 3

Croatia:
Draw vs Ireland.
Draw vs Spain.
Lose vs Italy.

Total points: 2

That leaves the table looking like this:
Spain
Ireland
Italy
Croatia

I know it's a tall order but it's very much possible. Come on you boys in green!

We beat the Croats, Draw with Spain and beat Italy.. next round here we come. By the way, did you hear/see that Chinese ''prophet'' who predicted Ireland will win it out. He picked Greece out when they won amongst a few other things, i always try be optimistic but even i think he may have went a little far, then again you never know, do you?!

If Greece were capable of winning the last one then we're capable of winning this one. A bit of luck and some heroic performances from the likes of Given, Dunne, Duff and Keane and we can go far.

Greece won a sub standard tournament. The Spain, Germany and Holland teams in this competition are all in another league to the class of 2004.

Certainly think we're more than capable of causing an upset. We'll definitely win one game, don't know which, and the other two will be tight affairs. If we don't qualify, I'm convinced we'll give a good account of ourselves and certainly influence the group.

Of course we can qualify. All our group games will be notoriously tight with probably nobody winning by more than a goal. That will suit our tight defence. I wouldn't put it past us to get two draws and a win. Croatia are certainly not unbeatable and Italy are little better than an average side anymore

We could maybe beat Croatia, draw with Italy and lose to Spain for a grand total of four points which might just be enough to progress.
Next game could be against England or France.

This getting out would be amazing to achieve. My hopes have been raised slightly after witnessing the shambles of the Italian defence against Russia on Friday
