I've been living in Guernsey for 2 years and I don't think I have a single Guern friend from outside work. I lived in Malta for 4 years and about 90% of my mates from there were not Maltese. If you go to the Costa Del Sol you'll find English speaking schools, full English breakfasts in British pubs and ex-pats who barely deal with any Spanish people on a daily basis. People like to deal with what is familiar to them, which is probably why you don't like unfamiliar Poles.
If we have so many jobs that we need foreign workers then fantastic, but that`s not the case. I work in Casinos and getting over 30k a year for a highly skilled job with unsociable hours.... My company made everyone on 23K or more redundant and replaced us with dealers on 16 to 18K from Eastern Europe, will they ever be given a pay rise? No, they keep their heads down and get on with it.... What`s the problem then? The ****ing problem is greedy corporate companies have halved their wage bill overnight and i had to try and support my 3 small children.. I am now working at a new casino and they had to employ 20% British born staff from the local area, in 6 months time they will try to replace us with cheap foreign staff i presume... The piss take is most of the foreign staff are moaning about being paid less than the British, yet they accept the terms and replace us... If i could go to their countries and do the same , fair enough but they only employ their own .............
So in a nutshell you're fully in support of depriving people of everything barring the absolute essentials if they don't work? No consideration as to why these people might not be working or anything - just bar them all from ever enjoying anything resembling a nice life. What's your next assignment? How the world would be a better place if we destroyed everyone with a disability?
a good way to stop unemployment is to lower wages and standards of living ( complicated i know) and bring back the manufacturing industry of the 70s, and limit all this service and financial sector bull*****, which has put us in this mess. manufacturing productivity is always in demand.
They should have chav shooting nites, get all the chav's to chase a remote control car with a bottle of white lightning stuck to it. You pay a fiver to join and get a hand gun to use, upgrading to a better gun costs more. Then at the end of a good night you get a free cuban cigar. Least there wouldn't be as many ****s on the dole
