How to setup, install and watch football matches via Sopcast

I've made a small step-by-step guide on how to setup, install and watch football matches via Sopcast as many members are left disappointed with Flash streams which lack quality, stability and are riddled with ads + viruses.

Follow these step-by-step instructions on how to install Sopcast and watch live sport on your laptop:

Step 1) Go to this link and download Sopcast, once you have done so, install it.

Step 2) Go to this link and browse the hundred of free channels.

Step 3) If for example I want tonight's football match versus Newcastle, I click the following: Live sports > Football > 'Live' button (Next to Liverpool FC vs Newcastle United)

Step 4) On the list, choose a stream, click 'Play now!' and a new tab/window may open in your browser, Sopcast may start (You may have to click 'Login as Anonymous') and the channel will begin loading.

(If what has been described does not happen, or a different channel as to the one you was expecting starts, open Sopcast manually, right click the 'Play now!' link, open in a new tab/window. Copy the web address of the new tab/window and paste it into Sopcast's channel address bar then press enter)

Remember:
-Streams only appear one hour before the start of the match.
-[EN] means the stream includes English commentary
-The higher the bit rate, the better the quality, although certain channels may be recommended over others due to having a reputation for producing stable streams.
-Follow the match threads for the latest/most reliable Sopcast links.

The best thing you could do is delete this thread to be honest, You're encouraging illegal activity young man.

 

Everyone asks how to do it so I created a thread, if the mods have something wrong with it they can delete it and I'll send the instructions to members via PM

Got no probs with the thread, you can find this kind of stuff in loads of places on the interweb. Can't speak for the other mods and Mick may not like it.

Remove it not for legal or moral reasons though, for my selfish enjoyment of tv quality streams
