They know before they buy their season ticket that they have to buy tickets to all cup games as well. If they don't like it they don't have to buy a season ticket. Considering they sell out season tickets and have a huge waiting list then it can't bother too many people. Most people I know just sell the ticket on to a non-season ticket holder if they don't want to go.
Doesn't Arsenals pass include all the home games they play? I saw someone pointing out how their pass wasn't as dear as people suggest.
I would of thought that this was illegal under Fair trade laws and that you would have recourse to the courts
I know two Utd season ticket holders who had their season tickets cancelled because they hadn't updated their debit card details after they'd expired. The cards were rejected when Utd tried taking money for a European game ticket. No contact other than a message informing that their season ticket had been cancelled. Proper twats
Surely it can't be legal? However, if its in the SMALL print (which in itself should be illegal) then people don't have a leg to stand on. I'm no expert but suspect this could be open to challenge if its not a wind up, as it could effect any club including ours.
They just have to long waiting list for them to give a ****, if you don't pay on time it goes to another. I would sooner support Stockport.
I've just been looking into this, and despite the t&c on their website backing it up (sort of) I think it's worded strangely and not how it looks. Their website says not buying home cup tickets puts you in a lower priority band for away game/cup final allocations but doesn't say you'll be suspended from attending league fixtures you've already paid for. If its as it sounds you'd expect there to be uproar on fan sites etc or at least paper articles stating how criminal it is but I can't find a single thing about it. I did stumble upon this however, which if true is completely f**king disgusting. http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/news/north-east-news/newcastle-united-take-season-ticket-6678233 f**king awful.
Now I understand why a United fan was so desperate to sell me his season ticket for the League Cup SF... What ****ers.
That's utterly disgusting. There is a fair bit of uproar from some United fans, that's how I came across it, there were people complaining on Twitter.
A guy in my office had an Arsenal season ticket (which he'd bought off someone else who didn't want to fall foul of the waiting list). Think he was entitled to 6 home cup games (it included Champions league and one of the domestic cups - can't remember which) in whatever order they came up during the season.
