    Can't say that'd be a great move!

    Can you imagine the confusion and disruption suddenly erupting in a predetermined apparently random applause 11 minutes into the game could do to the play by both teams! Whilst I don't care I'd it scares the crap out of Chelsea I do about NUFC!

    Can't retire the shirts of all the past hero's that pass away or else we could end up with just names on the shirts and no numbers at all.

    Nah it works, there's a team I saw do it in the Champions League (can't remember who it was) they do it every game!

    Good point, wasn't really thinking when I wrote that.

    I guess naming a bar or an area after him would be nice gesture. Nice to have something permanent.

    Well sure, when everyone in the club knows its going to happen but isn't this going a bit too far and actually affecting the current match being played?

    Sure a tribute at the middle or end of the game on top of the minutes applause/silence at the beginning I get!

    dont know how the club would do it or how we'd get them to do it but how about cards under every seat so when held up they spell gary speed in that section
