Not really balance but true, but then he turned it around.......records are there to be broken!!!
You could say City's record of staying in this division since AD, most wins in this division since AD, and finishing position in this division since GJ.....LJ has it..

seen this a couple of times in premier line ups … take no notice of bubble gum... can be very useful for shutting people up, also if a big fat bubble of air goes pop it comes back and hits you in the face … so I have observed .. myself hate the smell of the stuff

the midfield lost it and that is weak! so I guess the missed opportunities of the forwards not scoring or the defence letting in a goal or 2 had nothing to do with us not winning … just the weak midfield

my interpretations of weak are .. …. can be physical … or mental, inability to adopt a position of authority …. or possibly subjective [ others around it / him / them] don't believe in their ability lack confidence

    Don't worry about me mate.

I worked at clubs with an ex pro, whose dad played at BCFC even before I was born, I learned so much from him.

As for BCFC I cannot recall one manager in my 62 years of support, who didn't deserve the sack when it came, the same will inevitably happen to LJ.

People can offer as many excuses that they like and boy there have been plenty, my argument is thus, if he was as great as some perceive him to be, he would have moved on by now to bigger and better things.

Also the proof of the pudding is in the value of players, we have a keeper, defenders and strikers that are still worth a pretty penny, take Eliasson who some on here seem not to rate and Massengo who is nowhere near ready out of the equation and what value would you put on the rest of our midfielders?.

Of course, that's more or less in every club, not just BCFC inevitably the manager gets fired, it's the nature of the game..

Not sure many on here including myself have actually said he was great, although, I'm confident that when he does go, he will get a another decent job either with one of the Lower Prem clubs or decent championship club. He's going a decent job for our club, a club that I believe he knows and actually cares about (unlike some managers we've had who IMO did it just for the CV or because it "was just a job" available). I also think he's young, learning all the time and has a decent perception for the modern game, which we need to progress.....I've been saying for the years when each time the haters want him out.....who is out there, available and ready to take his place, that we can afford and attract, that will be so much better?

Yeah something like either. I don't go with the City are that weak. City get outnumbered in central midfield. So put extra players in central midfield. for a modern coach i am unsure why LJ doesn't do the very modern thing of having three players and more in the centre of the park. Not sure if lJ has ever played 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1??? and City have a lot of numbers in the squad and out on loan to give it a go,

I agree our home record has been poor but by virtue of our finish position every season, that must conversely mean that our away record has been very good? Again, overlooked by the LJ out gang.....

Of course, LJ's time to leave will happen at some point, every manager does, I just don't feel it needs to be yet. I genuinely believe some City fans want LJ out and don't care if whoever replaces him does worse, just so they can say they 'got their way'. Tragic really!!
