Not at all g4e, like I said before with our squads ability level and current injury list it'll be a small miracle to even get to a final never mind win. I'd take it as a positive tbh.
yes. O'Neil's squad was assembled for less than £5 M .. and he inherited absolute ****e rather than a squad worth north of £150 M
Sad but true that it is seen as a Micky mouse cup these days, but there's nothing like watching your team in a final, and winning something. That never feels Micky Mouse, not to me anyway
..will take me some time to come up with the numbers but it will be close .. Hedley came through youth ranks, Izzet from Chelsea reserves, Lennon after he failed a medical at your lot .. Matt Elliot probably most expensive signing ..
No need your probably not far off anyway, let me ask, when you won it did it feel Micky mouse or was it a great day?
it was fantastic... every bridge over the M1 in Leicestershire was bedecked in colours in support... first meaningful silverwear in over 30 years ...
Everyone is sick already, regardless how we do this seaon there isnt one single fan in this country who wouldnt have our manager please log in to view this image
Certainly, as I mentioned in another thread in 2001 under houlier we won the league cup 1st and then went on to win the FA and uefa cup and then the super cup + charity shield (who cares) we then went on to qualify for the cl for several seasons up until we won it in 05. but my point was that it can be a catalyst for future triumphs in terms of belief and a winning mentality, I'm not saying the same will happen under Klopp but it definitely won't hurt him or us getting that duck off his back so to speak, as due to his reputation people are expecting him to do well and win trophies with us eventually. And how can't I get exited about a possible Merseyside final
