How should Saints handle Osvaldo?

Well, quite. Osvaldo has done precious little to show he can play like Suarez though.

 

He keeps getting injured/banned before he gets a run. Not going to judge him football-wise until (if) that happens.

 

We know that the team suspended him for the maximum allowable period, and we have several sources saying that he punched and head-butted Fonte. Do you need video evidence? They wouldn't have suspended him if it was a clash of heads.

Well time is a healer. The players would have been furious after it happened. But if Dani apologises and really means it then they may still forgive him. 2 weeks is quite a long time.

His return will spoil the atmosphere in the dressing room to put it politely....he has picked on one of our most senior and respected players so the squad will join together to make his life as difficult as possible which will in turn cause more incidents

I would be stunned if they really all went mob-handed to Pochettino and demanded he doesn't come back.

 

Hasn't played terribly well. Got suspended for kicking out at an opposing coach. Just lashed out violently at a teammate. I wouldn't be stunned at all if they wanted him gone...we seem to have a generally happy dressing room, and that makes a complete nut stand out all the more.

 

How do we know Pochettino doesn't feel the same?
