I was under the impression he made a pass at her and it got back to Fonte, who obviously wasn't too impressed. The idea that she would actually do the no-pants dance with Pardew is pretty fanciful surely?
The thing about taking a risk on something is that there is always the risk of it going wrong. Mauricio thought he had it covered, but has now found out that Dani has the common sense of a particularly ******ed mealworm. Not sure that he can learn much from this unless you think an Italian international with an anger problem comes up in every transfer window.
Yeah, I heard from someone who has links with the club who is also an ex-Saint. The same person also said that apparently the stripes on the walls inside the stadium had been recoloured grey by Cortese.
Well, it doesn't look anywhere near as bad as is being reported, and he says he will be available to play tomorrow.
Probably one of those Feng Shui things, grey is supposed to be more calming, helpful when dealing with temperamental Latinos I would think?
I thought I read he only made an advance and she told JF . If ITactually happened ,why is he still with her ?
FTR, this is all I was initially saying. I don't feel that MP owes me an explanation, because I can't do anything about it anyway. But OTOH I do think he's going to be asked by the press regardless, so he'll have to say something one way or another. Probably another good reason to call him in and just make sure everyone's on the same page. But yes, I think questions need to be asked within the club. It's quite possible that MP has satisfactory answers as well. I'm not accusing MP, it realy may be that nothing could have been done. It could also be that what could have been done was on the NC/administrative/executive side to lend MP more support rather than MP not doing enough. Also, I can understand taking the gamble to bring in Osvaldo. But IMO, the fight was the culmination of a series of events of which the decision to buy him was only one. Once here, could there have been more done to nip this in the bud considering Osvaldo displayed his hot-headed nature from his very first game? Perhaps a message could have been sent by not appealing his ban. If Osvaldo is just a nut, could there at least have been something done to at least not have it happen now, where the timing of the event was terrible for half a dozen reasons? Those are the questions I'd be asking.
Mauricio took a calculated gamble that didn't come off...plenty of clubs take risks with players...Joey Barton, Gazza for example. I don't think he has anything to answer, though he will probably be more cautious in future. It obviously doesn't work to put a bad egg into our basket of happy, handsome lads.
