He might have 4 for sale so I might have 2 spare, you can have some stress then, £940.00 for 2 tickets is a lot of money.
I got 2 tickets through great events travel for 350.00 pound each club wembley but in the sunderland end. they are a travel company in Australia. not sure weather they have tickets left at that price but give them a go.
I've paid £100 for train and hotel but don't have a ticket yet. Hoping to do the lot for no more than £500 but I want to be in the Sunderland end. Unsure as yet if I'll pay anything like that kind of money for an area where I'm not in with our fans.
Bit of a conundrum. Been offered a ticket in the Sunderland end for £80 but im 50/50 if the ticket will be legit or even arrive. What do people think? Do I take a punt?
Ive got the guys girlfriends address as he is away with work at the moment. Unfortunately they live in Plymouth so I cant go down to buy it face to face as this was offered. Its gonna have to be a bank transfer and an agonising wait for th ticket. She will send it recorded delivery and give me the code but I still feel it could be dodgy.
Ask for a scan/photocopy and say you have a mate down there who'll collect. I actually have a mate in Devon who'd probably help. If they don't send a scan or owt then it's fake.
Verify their address via the Internet. Then if the ticket does not arrive you can sue them for the money. Just make sure the bank account name and the name at the address match.
I'm not saying it's the only check. It's simply to verify whether or not it's worth starting the procedure.
this is a very good point, i read that extra stewards will be checking for holograms due to fake/duplicate barcodes being made
i think you will find that this is the key to fakes, all the validity is in the hologram ,you can make it look like one in a crude form but its in the hologramic actions they fail .
Think im gonna take a punt on this one guys. At the end of the day £80 ain't gonna break the bank if I do end up getting skanked. I guess all rationale goes out the window when a cup final ticket is at stake.
