Am I really reading this? For years we had non-stop rubbish on here alleging that Delia was the main cause of so called problems because she interfered with everything from transfer policy and team selection to the choice of tea bags at Colney. She hands over control of the Club to ' professionals ' and now it is all her fault because she did not interfere in major decisions !! You couldn't make it up!!
Ah yes that fan power. It got rid of Chase but what was the outcome? If I remember correctly we were facing going out of business. Was there a long list of rich people who wanted to save the Club and then hurl money into the Club to improve matters? I think not. Had it not been for the person you hate so much stepping in you would not have a Club to moan about. But us fans know best don't we? Big recent successes - got rid of Hughton - where is now? Got rid of Neil - what sort of job is he doing now? Lets carry on whilst we are on a winning streak. Get rid of Delia and force her, and the money she is owed, out of the Club because we KNOW there is a long list of Foreign Billionaires waiting to step in and invest millions in the Club. Yeah right!! Instead of worrying about Delia start worrying about such minor issues as how we are going to handle the loss of the parachute payments, balance the books, keep the debt under control and how we can get a 31yo who is earning on his own 4 or 5 times the wages earned by other players in the Team off the books when he is quite entitled to just see out his contract and is unlikely to be bothered about lack of game time.
Agree to a large extent. He was meant to be a like for like replacement for McNally but due to a variety of reasons, mainly personal, he could not find the time or commitment which must have been one of the main reasons to try a change of structure. IMO, 6 months is not long enough to decide that either the structure or the personnel within it needs changing.
Agree. If we had been more patient we might have kept Hughton but unfortunately the patience lifespan of the average football fan is about 4 games.
1 win since 22nd October spanning 3 months. Actually when you look at it that way it's not as bad. If we manage another win by February the 22nd then that's just awesome. Wouldn't want to put any more unnecessary pressure on the coach and players though.
