Not sure I know what you mean. Suarez will be in the news the whole time he is at the World Cup. Both before and after the journos will be linking him to everybody who has a cartful of millions.

I've no basis for this but I get the feeling that the part of the resolution to last Summer's fracas was a closer relationship between JH/IA/LS and his agent. Liverpool have met their part of the bargin (with LS's assistance in gaining CL football) and given him the money and security that he needs. He has met his part of the bargin on the field and I think he'll stick to his word over the Summer.

Cant maintain standards for a full season

Ronaldo and bale didnt come with this baggage and thus went for silly money. Suarez has so many issues the risk far outweighs the benefits. It takes just one more incident for his value to plummet. Clubs are wary of this and so are liverpool. 60million now or 20million when he next does something stupid.

while he is still our player couldn't give a monkeys what his value is.

can see the arguments for and against with value, but as long as he is our player, he is more valuable to us and the team than if we did or didn't get silly money for him.

Most of the baggage you mention makes players heroes in Spain.<laugh>

As for can't score against big clubs, the chimp only scored 42 prem goals and Suarez's record against "big clubs" is better.

Anyway he ain't going anywhere.<grr>
 
Taking into account everything, I think he's worth about 40 million. He's probably got 3 years left in his prime, and he doesn't deliver in big matches. So I don't think he's worth more than 40 :biggrin:

The mancs have got a good selection of dirt to make threads about ranging from paying elderly ladies for the use of their wrinkly bodies to Guardiola Giggs's banging his Bros wife, Fergie keeping the Irish cancer charity money is rarely mentioned or Cantona's unjustified assault on a supporter and many more, but we don't want to resort to that kind of stuff, do we.
