I don't think there would be a point blank refusal from Hull to say 'You can't have player X,Y or Z' but I would guess they would demand a higher price than they would for other clubs. So we're probably going to have to pay over the odds to get some Hull players here.
I don't believe for a second that there's one player at Hull that wouldn't have done what Nige has done (well, except maybe Barmby). Football is all about money now and any players and managers will always go for the best deal available.
You're forgetting that Rosenior's nan lives in Hull and is a season ticket holder and he's already been told that he's in serious trouble with nan if he tries to leave.
One of our favourite tongue in cheek chants, every time he does something well, he gets a chorus of... His nan is from Hull, His nan is from Huuuulllllll Liam Rosenior His nan is from Hull
I dont think we will go back in for Hobbs or Fryatt as Nigel knows has the finances to attract better quality players like Nugent, Fryatt did a good job for us but he is too much of a confidence player to go any further up the ladder.
I'd be surprised if you did too, you really don't need players in those positions, though they're not really the players we're concerned about.
We have 4 fit decent strikers (Nugent, Beckford, Schlupp, Howard) and 4 decent centre backs (Bamba, Mills, Tunchev and St Ledger) - don't need any in those positions unless we sell first and I don't really see anyone going.
I disagree. With Beckford not doing the biz, Howard a squad player and Schlupp still learning the game, I still think we could do with another striker. We do have Waggy out on loan too, but I don't think he's the answer. Maybe we could get another Yakubu-type Premiership player on loan?
Hull probably have one player that may interest Leicester and he is Robert Koren, the rest wouldn't even grace our reserve team and that includes Hobbs and Fryatt, the reason we let them go in the first place was they were surplus to requirements. Hull fans are deluded and their club are punching well above their weight, you have always been a lower divison (old 3rd & 4th division club) as long as i can remember from boyhood. You should be grateful for Nigel even being at your Club and also the fact you are as high up as the Championship.
Comedy post of the year. By the same reasoning Nottingham Forest are the best team in the midlands and the third best team in England. Also by your reasoning Wigan should not be in the Premier League. Leeds Utd should be by the same token. Teams are in the division they deserve to be. You are only just out of League 1: remember that? More online arrogance. Not like the real opposition fans I meet at matches and have a beer with. I've yet to meet a Leicester fan (in the flesh) who has ever spoken rubbish like you have just spouted.
Hull City have actually spent the majority of their history in the second tier of English football, but don't let facts get in the way of your childish gibberish.
