West Yorks - North of Leeds but quite safe.
How many points are needed to avoid relegation? Is it forty, or less, this season?
How many do you think we will get?
Will it be enough?

COYH!!

So 37 or above and we could consider ourselves unlucky to go down. 21 points then = 7 wins, do able I would have thought if we can continue as we have since NP arrived performance/result wise.

27 + 16 but a potential 36 + 16 if we can maintain the last four games attitude and commitment
It is in our own hands

IF (big if ) at home we lose agaist all of the current top 7 sides we still have to play, and win the rest =12 points at home. Then away lose to any of the current top 9 sides and beat every side currently below 9th = 18 points so 30 + 16 =46 .now the odds of me getting 18 matches right must be over 250,000 to 1 so thats not going to happen .Im hoping that Wet Spam or Bournemouth go on a bad run and we get 38 points because at present the teams at the bottom have about 1/2 the points normaly needed so it could be a high number needed to stay up

I am not a mathematics expert.. But agree that as the point level at the bottom is lower we may need more than 36 and more like 39+ points..
Can any mathematical person cast a light on this logic?

Its not maths, The problem is most years you have 1 or 2 are left behind so its just the last place that needs filling but thats not the case this year as we have closed the gap a bit and on there day Norwich and Villa are picking up points and the rest are already on 19+ mark which is more that 1/2 that is needed in most years
