Quite - just look at how Brentford and Swansea have dropped points easily.
The way Swans and Brentford ( who play the best football, when they do) are leaking points, then unless something very dramatic happens, 10 points in next 4 games will see up before the last 3. Reasoning...
We will be 19 points clear - they each have 8 to play. one of them has to win 6 (or more) and draw 2 (or 1). Can you see that.??
Can we get 10 points ? Well, yes. We will beat Millwall and Luton. Reading is probable !If we win tomorrow, then certainly !
Even if we are not up actually by the last 3 , then we will be so close that we can enjoy the last 3 -probably win them all !!

I can't see Norwich dropping points against Huddersfield on Tuesday though...

and the value of points in the bag over games in hand is seen here when teams cant convert the games into maximum points..... all really looking good
Whenever I see the heading for this thread I can't help thinking, "Just one more than Brentford and Swansea."
Amazingly this is the first time Wednesday have scored more than twice in a league game this season - it's taken them 23 minutes to do it here.
And against a Cardiff side that are unbeaten away in 2021 - a run lasting eight games.
Swansea were probably banking on three points from too - might be panicking now. They also play Wycombe who won away from home today...

This is now a match by match thing.... .how are we in relation to Brentford/Swansea each round...... and they dont have a lot of games to claw back now..........COYH!
Looking at what Brentford would have to do mathematically.... ie win all but one of thiei remaining games. I think you are right and that 9 would be enough.....

On form we really should do it.......
If it hadn't been for some inexplicable dressing room malaise in the first half of the season, we already would have done it.
Come to think of it, it's that same malaise from last season that saw us relegated in the first place.
Yes... that throw it all away malaise..... I think we have a much more motivated dressing room now.... and less of the prima donna mentality.... plus we have been playing attacking football .... just need to score a few
We just need to be 3 points clear of Brentford and 3 points behind Norwich the last day of the season when we play Swansea and it will be all in our hands
