Water long gone mate...aint had nothing to do with them in years. Got a fantastic Mrs RCL and 2 great kids which more than makes up for it. I'm more concerned with the torture spurs make me and my girls endure every fecking year
I merely picked your last four games, which you have struggled to win, and pointing out that you have not started Europa yet.
I think we won't agree on the point of us struggling to win games as you (imo) have picked out a random time limit to show we are struggling to win whereas I think that 7 wins in our last 9 league matches and 9 wins in our last 11 matches in all comps suggests the opposite. I do agree that we will struggle in coming matches (starting on Saturday v Liverpool) as no vertongen and rose severely weakens us
I said from the beginning of the season that if we finish above Man City, we'll win the league. I still stand by this.
Seriously mate, let it go. We don't agree ... we ain't gonna agree and life is too short to bore each other (and everyone else on this thread) ****less over a nothing issue
Fair enough. Did you play well against Boro out of interest? I know you were poor v City, Wycombe and Sunderland.
We were excellent v boro ... hit the post twice and several poor finishes...on another day could have got 4. The pen was nailed on. Boro have the 3rd best away record (after you and us) so we did well. We were terrible in the 1st half v Sunderland but were good in second half...just poor final ball. The Wycombe match had our reserve keeper and defence and our reserve midfield. The only regular starter was Son. Was a great match .. will be remembered for years to come. But cos it had our reserve team it doesn't really count in terms of form. We were very poor v city and deserved to lose and city should have had a penalty but the mark of a decent side is getting points when playing badly and in fairness city (imho) were lucky not to have Sane sent off fof a shockingly bad tackle on Walker while it was nil nil. I personally think you are unstoppable and will breeze the title. City will be second Goons third and united 4th. We do not have enough depth and have had a terrible run of injuries. Kane was out for 2 months, Lamela 4 months and is still out, Toby was out for 6 weeks, Vertongen has been out for 3 and is still out and Rose is out for at least another month. I think we will pay the price for this
Cos Rose and Vertongen are massive loses. Not just fron a defensive position but it affects our attacking options. Davies is a very good defender but is nowhere near as dangerous as Rose when going forward. Vertongen is better than any replacement we can use. He too is very good attacking wise as he sprays the ball around well.
