He's no different to a few on every board tbf. And just like CFC often does, he made the mistake of camping on our board for a few days giving it large, just bcos he was overdosing on Klopp.

He says things like that (that can be spun to mean different things) all the time so he gets a reaction and then he can claim it meant the opposite afterwards.

In theory, they were all winnable. In reality, we weren't going to win them all.

In theory they are also all losable. And given you have now joined the illustrious ranks of Northampton, Norwich and Bournemouth as the only clubs to lose to Newcastle this season, I'd say they are all now very losable <ok>

Indeed, as is every game that any club enters into. That's the point. What Astro said was factually true and he knew people would take it as him saying we would win them all.

So you're saying he made a pointless and irrelevant statement in a deliberate effort to mislead people?

I didn't think you thought of him as such a **** tbh...

That sounds like almost all arguments on here!!

mine was 25 exactly which was 2 off which is the two points rodgers binned v everton <whistle>

Right now LFC look on for 60 points. the hope to win all over christmas here looks to me like hoping to get 70 and 4th place.

Of course he meant we should win all of them (which is stronger than could win). Having said that, "should" does not mean "will". :bandit:

Shows that this idea of judging the difficulty by looking at previous performances or rank in the league is flawed. The lower the team sinks the harder they will fight to get that result: that draw and the point. This is what happened with the Toon. Our hardest matches will be Watford and Sunderland especially if they match us for workrate. I can already visualise their managers saying to their players: "If you ****ers don't run as much as these scousers you are out of here".

You'd think that, but I bet they'll get hammered in the next game. I hate fckers that do that!! Raise their game against you and then bend over in the next.

Not really true (the bit about Watford & Sunderland being our hardest games). These teams can fight as hard as they want but ultimately they don't have the quality to match us for 90 minutes if we play to our potential. There's a reason sides in the bottom of the table are where they are. I don't think its fair to put Watford in the same bracket as Sunderland though, they've proved themselves to be a very well organised team with a pretty solid defence.

We'll see. I've got a feeling that these teams will prove very tough. Watford will be very physical and Sunderland will be dependent on which one turns up. If they score first and get their crowd behind them, then it will be tough. Those who thought we had 6 easy matches in December were being over-optimistic <ok>
