Funny that now you've got nothing to gloat over us, we have to resort some of these childish comments, every team has plastic supporters as many on here including Sunderland fans have said. I support Newcastle because it's my family team, even though I now live in Durham.
OP is an arse. Ive never lived in Sunderland, Lived in Byth for 30 years, now just south of boro, My dad is a Sunderland Supporter (brought up in silksworth), so it was just natural progression for me and my brother to be as well (even though my mams side of the family tried all ways to get us to be mags, it never happened). If that makes me any less of a fan/supporter than someone who lives in Sunderland, then the OP can **** off and do one.
I come from a family 5 lads 4 sunderland and 1 skunk, he's 3rd inline so we don't how it happened. I'am sure dad burnt the wrong package.
My dad was born in Portsmouth , and supported Newcastle, despite our entire family being from Hylton Castle originally and being die-hard fans (he's one of 13, the ONLY Mag). I was born in SR2, ten seconds walk from the city centre, but that doesn't make me more of a fan of Sunderland (even though i'm 1300miles away now..) than he is of the Mags. The point of switched allegiances, and jumping on the Keegan era bandwagon is the valid point, to say you can't genuinely have affinity to a club from afar is horse ****. In the OP's defence, he never said this, people have twisted his words (maaaan...).
He said you're a "plakka" fan if your not from the city...sounds pretty much like that's what he's saying to me.
I think we're all in mutual agreement on this that he is way wrong. The changing of support is what makes you a "plakka" fan, I don't think anyone but a true fan would have supported Newcastle or Sunderland over the last few years
Chiek basically you started supporting Newcastle when they started doing well! Typical glory supporter! Tag fits u beautifully! Funnily u never got any glory did u! When I was at school I remember lads who supported Liverpool, Forrest etc. Lot's of them moved onto Man urd funnily enough! Luckily my Dad was a football fan, sadly he supported Sunderland. I'm now passing on the burden to my Son, as the saying goes "Sunderland till I die".
Not sure how you work that one out you uneducated ****. When I frst began following Newcastle I didn't give a **** about the results, so how successful they were had nothing to do with it.. Come back when you have a few GCSE's you thick, derogatory, bottom class fool
Lol! Oh hit a nerve big time there! Hence the pathetic insults start flying! Keep them coming ha ha ha!!!!
You take this forum too seriously considering you're a wum [/QUOTE] Don't appreciate being called a plastic fan. Spent a lot of time and money on the club I love, and no concrete layer or whatever the hell he is has the right to say anything against that.
