So I make it 4 to go unless we sell and one keeper to move on
 
Still reckon there's changes to be made.
Any team with Anton as C/B and Ricco as L/B has got the room for improvement..

But it's coming along nicely, like a fine wine..
 
Gibson to fit in somewhere, Brown and O'shea less likely.

I think he will go back for Onuoha and Welbeck, he will buy if sensibly priced, otherwise loan deals again.

We still need a centre back .... Johnson would suit me, too much competition for Samba and Cahill
 
I've got a strong feeling that Gordon may be on his way out of our club. I was talking to a fellow fan at work today who told me that we are in for yet another keeper, a youngster whose name and club he couldn't remember. I have to say that I haven't heard or read anything about this keeper, has anyone else?

Incidently, as I was chatting with my SAFC mate, he just casually dropped into the conversation that his 18 year old son went to school with none other than Connor Wickham!

I was going to ask him stuff about Connor so that I could post it on here, but then thought better of it, because I don't want to be classed as Big Chris II with my source bollocks ;)

I was told about a young keeper the other day, but i was balls deep in a few San Miguels and i've forgotten who it was.

Was from a lower league English club, and he was a teenager, strikes me Flash may be on his way, taking into account the contract situation.
 
Someone mentioned a possible loan deal for Bendtner from Arsenal the other day. It's been playing on my mind ever since, because it could be a possibility.

The other gaps will be filled by the Man Utd trio, if they sign.
 
well I will answer my own question.

I agree that Gordon will move on.

Can see Ned back an a CB, I dont have a problem with Anton because he can cover the back line.

LB yes

LW maybe

Ned would move Elmo to cover at RW

I can see a new striker and think it will be Welbeck
 
The young keeper is only 18 and from Luton. Sounds like we have been watching him with a view to the long term and not as a squad player.

That was me, it was reported over here, but i've seen or heard nowt else.
 
I suspect it will be something like this, although it could be Brown over Evans or just Ohouha with the view that Oshea and Anton could cover RB or LB. Also I do think we will get Gibson who will be in the 4 while Meyler is injured, I can see Steed going to Wigan or Stoke.

I wish people would lay off Anton and Richardson. Anton was brilliant for large parts of last season, I can only really remember him having 1 bad game, he stepped up when we needed him to when we had no one else. Richardson saved our season with his goals against Blackpool, without them we might have ended up in the bottom 3 and then you never know what might have happened.
