Not seen him for years, a couple of us young lads late 70's used to look up to and follow him to his locker in Paragon before running up and down Anlaby Road.
Brill. Dont know if he still has his scrap book , He used to cut all sorts out of the HDM. Think it was his job to bring the P**s can that lived on the stairs on the buses lol
Not sure I think most of that squad under Fergie knew how to have a good time. Gazza is the sort to self-destruct in any environment.
Anyone remember George Best's downfall? Gazza is on the same projectory but at least he won't have to be interviewed by Terry Wogan and even make Mr Wogan wince.
Gazza surrounded himself with all the wrong kind of people when he was in his prime. He should have been more careful. Now where are all those so-called friends ? Gone. Sad but true.
Well one of those friends was Chris Evans, i've just read his autobiography in which he goes on about his own drunken years. He seems to have sorted his own life out. I have no idea if he is still in contact with Gazza. It may be true that some people are beyond help.
I think he's paid for at least one of Gazza's spells in rehab, possibly more. That doesn't make him perfect, I know, but the idea that he's just left Gazza in the gutter to die is misplaced.
I read a while back that Gazza was trying the horse cure. Nothing to do with heroin they say that just being around horses can be very therapeutic.
How many more times are people gonna plea or try to support Gazza? If he was my mate every single time.
I sponsored Paul during a recent charity event where he was paid to remove all his clothing. I wanted to see The Gazza Strip.
Jeez, soz all. I organised a charity football match and persuaded Paul Gascoigne to come along, but unfortunately when he turned up he was completely wasted. The manager played him as a centre forward when everybody knows he was really more of a creative midfielder. I'm here all week.
