Change that a bit mate, Gills will finish above Stevenage, well we should and the way Rotherham are going, we will finish above them mate.
I don't think anyone is playing consistently well enough to get that many more points. I don't know if anyone does spread betting, but if you take a look at Sporting Index, and their Points Index for League Two. They are basically saying that almost everyone is going to end up in a heap with around 70 or 71 points, with 74 probably enough for automatic promotion, and Wycombe getting 76, which is only a dozen more points.
After my predictions: 1. Chesterfield 94 2. Wycombe 80 3. Stevenage 77 4. Shrewsbury 76 5. Bury 75 6. Rotherham 74 7. Port Vale 74 8. Gillingham 71 9. Torquay 67 10. Accrington 66 This would be great, we'd go up, oxford not even top 10, and shrewbury would settle for play offs.
haha, yeah you're probably right. Most of my predictions are based on who played best against wycombe, and gillingham wasn't the most memorable. Looking back, i think torquay should finish higher than where they came out.
You chavboys will undoubtedly conspire to mug yourselves of one of those precious automatic promotion spots... looking forwards to another play-off epic fail from poor little non-league Wycombe. Oooh the Wycombe run...
na, we beat you earlier in the season and we'll beat you next season as well. I also love the "chavboys" - you're the ones from essex !
Gillingham have 4 games remaining at home, with a current points per game at home of 2.20 over the last five games = 11 points, total 71 excluding 3 away games. Overall form home & away based over the last eight games is 1.75 per game = 14 points, total 74 overall. Maximum achievable points IF we were to win all our remaining games is 81 points. Wycombe, Bury, Gillingham have identical points per game over the last eight games. Stevenage v Bury could be a fixture to watch out for on the final day, Stevenage also have the best current form over the last eight games in the league at 2.25 per game.
col u mike go and get your sandbags ready the tide is rising and colchester will be lost forever,no more chav boys
col u mike givin it large when our reserves beat their first team on their own patch in the cup ,what a plonker
Ahh Columike has found his way here, clever boy. THey might knight you in your backwater slum for that. Now go and get a job or something. Back to the real reason for being on here, and I think Gills will be higher, and I think Port Vale, Shrews and Bury may well be lower. If we hit the form we are capable of - we've got Sandell coming back, Rendell's scoring and LJ is getting a regular game - and if we can keep the old pros fit - we are gonna be right up there. Bury may have a problem if Knill buggers off to Scunthorpe and I don't think Shrewsbury have the quality there to be honest (unless they start playing the big duracell top more regularly ha ha ha). Stevenage I think could fade again, at least I hope so as they are thugs by all accounts. And Le Fondre is Rotherham's key and he's right off the boil. I think we'll finish second. There are no great teams in this division (Even Chesterfield haven't got a great points record when you look at previous title winners) and whoever goes up is going to have some serious dealings to do to stay up there though. I hope we have that problem though!
And I didn't mean for the stars to appear in the Scunforpe team name, it did that automatically, but does remind me of the joke 'which three teams have swearwords in their names? Arsenal, Scunthorpe and ****ing Man Utd'.
After today's results, by my reckoning we still need 12 points. Although Shrewsbury lost 3-0 they only lost ground to Wycombe by 1 point so unfortunately we are still heading for 4th place. So far my 3 predicted results for Wycombe have all been correct. They need to better my predictions to make my day.
