Well I don't see he point of responding, to any of Dai's post as he's clearly a far superior being to me. Like **** he his.
And your point is?...... If you ask the players you'll get all sorts of answers, players are not always the sharpest tools in the box and who cares, this is not about players, it's about Managers and effective style of management. But since you brought it up, ask those players that went behind Laudrup's back to complain about him early season to Jenkins?.................
That's right ask them that... Look its not ML's fault is it. Not every manager can manage the same so its about His management skills and we have had enough evidence as the results and table don't lie that he is not the manager to take us forward. Its so plain to see that a blind man can see it and its what fans are saying on the terraces and pubs and clubs around our catchment area....are the fans concerned? Of course they are as you would not be a fan if you were not...
It is a fact that ML is our most successful manager during our time in the PL there is no disputing that. As for the next three games and the rest of the season I expect us to get at least 5 if not 7 points in these three games and we will finish in the top 13 and hopefully top 10.
And your point is, you ask Routs what his favourite position is, but seeing as Laudrup is the boss should we just play him out of position? I mean of course players opinions are taken into consideration, thats part of man management, I am sure your a clever enough to realise that. After all if you go against the majority of the group, then your going to be doing something that has a negative affect on the masses, how is that for motivation. Its clear Laudrup shows faith in his players, some managers like to shout, others like to sit. Laudrup is the latter, and I have to be honest, I like his style in trusting his players on the pitch. If the bloke couldn't motivate, then you wouldn't see us coming out second half earlier on in the season a much better team than many of our first half performances. But when they cross that white line, he puts his trust in them. And that is great in my eyes.
Laudrup is a true Gentleman, and I understand his lack of apparent enthusiasm and motivation, but he will improve with experience.
My point is because you don't see him patrolling the technical area then thats poor management, read the post again .This has nothing to do with the pre- season tour but 1 and a half seasons on , he hasn't changed from day 1 so why now ?
I think if you observe some of his latest games, he's actually got of his bottom a few times recently, and it does add to his presence to at least see him pitch side, it's good for the fans too as it motivates the Library? Of course he doesn't have to do it, but 99% of all other managers do??
Hobbit welcome to the board, you you're a breath of fresh air mate, though your likely to be accused of being me in next to no time.........
Was it finally determined that players actually went behind Laudrup's back earlier in the season , thought it was only rumours
Well I can only speak from the information I was given, and it wasn't a rumour, and Leon was dragged into it very unwillingly? It's fair to say that Leon was an Innocent party in fairness to him. Monk though, well that's a different story.
The man as a player never let his emotions get the better of him so I can imagine his personality as we've all seen, is not one to get rattled and to quote 99% of all the other mangers as players weren't fit to clean his boots so no comparison there really is there . I sit in the East Stand and can't think on one occasion saying to my mates "oh look the manger's off his seat thats really motivated me to sing louder " you talk sense on occasion but sorry I just can't understand where you're coming from , unless you equate for example ,Sam Allardyce's modus operandi of either laying comatose in his recaro seat or bellowing expletives ,neither of which would inspire a 50,000 a week footballer or me . and one final point , you call it the library which is your right but have you considered actually going to a game and contributing to the atmosphere?,
How do you think I know it's like a Library? Given some of our very poor performances this season, are you trying to justify his clear lack of motivation by being stuck to the chair?
we're just going around in circles here , who says the players aren't motivated , ,one minute he's stuck to his chair the next he's up off his arse , whats it to be ?
