Give ML to end of the season, then decide. I just wish ML shows more passion though, eg, take the FA Cup when both Routledge and Bony scored, TV cameras panned to him showing the way he slow clapped. Martinez and Rodgers would have been bouncing with joy on the touchline. I mean, Swans beat Man U first time ever at OT.! Just fantastic, is it not.
He also said the win was "nothing special" which surprised me. I think that's just the way he is. He's very cool and dispassionate - doesn't make him a bad manager, and some would say quite the opposite.
Another 3 - Spurs, Fulham and West Ham. I think we'll get 7 points from them, so not likely to happen. But if we lost those 3, I think he'd have to go. I really can't see us losing them all though.
Exactly. It's nonsense. A huge chunk of our players are here for Laudrup not because they had a burning desire to play for Swansea. The wheels will really fall off if we act like other clubs. Imo we won't get relegated and Laudrup will see out his contract. On a more positive note I think we'll start climbing the table when the 6 we had missing yesterday return.
If we lose the next 3 then we will have to act quick and sack him as there is to much money at stake here and games will be running out. I hate relying on other teams to keep us safe and it should not have got this far. I hope we stay up but as things are cant say for definite that we will stay up as nobody can say that, And if we do i cant wait until ML leaves for pastures new. He came ,He tried his best and unfortunately he has failed to match previous managers achievements in the premiership.....
Failed to match previous managers........???????????????????? We finished in our HIGHEST position ever and WON the League Cup... for the first time ever. And referring to Rodgers as "previous managers" does not disguise that you are at it again. We've only ever had one previous manager in the PL as you well know. Give it a rest for pity's sake. Much more of it and you'll be talking to yourself here......
Dai, top 10 finish, a cup final win, beat Utd at Old Trafford, and EL knock out stage. I'd like to see previous managers achievements at our club stacked against these achievements.
Best finish ever in the Prem last season and a League Cup and Laudrup has "failed to match" previous managers? What planet is this 'person' living on?
Yes I agree on this, his pitch side motivation is none existent, and it's one of his weaknesses he needs to work on, if he could address that, I think he would get more from the players, sitting on his backside all game is not the way to go, couldn't believe he got out of his seat at the Manu Cup game, more of that Laudrup needs to do!............
Your a fool if you think that was down to laudrup, We were still playing brendans brand of football and it was that that got us to where we were. also we finished on less points if you care to look. what have we done for a year since we won our cup final ??? nothing
Your a fool if you think that none of it was down to Laudrup Your a fool if you think we have done nothing since winning the League Cup Final
Just wondering if you've asked the players on how they like to be motivated ? , man management takes many forms ,some like to be screamed at and others are happy in the knowledge that they're treated like adults and are allowed to learn from their mistakes .You'll observe that theres no shouting from the touchline with the odd occasion within the Academy , which I believe is Policy .
I've forgotten more about football than you have time left on this earth to learn. You are an insult to anybody who wants to post sense here, with what I regard as systematic wumming and quite idiotic opinions. How you are tolerated is totally beyond me and I'm fast coming to the view that I want no part of a forum that allows such garbage to be posted. And I've wasted another 5 minutes of my life in responding to you.
