This sort of thread is the reason why I stopped posting or reading. Came back today for the first time in a good few months and it seems that one person is still at it. this thread is the biggest load of bollox I have read. Think I will leave it for a few more months again and see if anything has changed.
Spot on shaper I cant believe that someone is suggesting that we sack ml we are 11th in the prem in the ko stages of the europa league and all this with the injuries that we have. shaper had to requote yours quality reply
Hopefully sven will come in now and finish the job off as he done such a great job at leicester
Mullett are hard to catch with that soft mouth, more like a mackerel silly bastards just jump on the hook with out any bait.
No need to sack the manager that got us to 9th last year, as well as winning some silverware. The problem lies with the players who simply are not performing. You can take a horse to water, but you can't make him drink....heard that on before Dai. Anyway, I'll try again...DAI..you pick the team for the next two games, preferably before the games start. I'd like to see your managerial skills put to the test
If i had replied like this i would be banned for derailing and unnecessary reply This is a Swansea forum and im allowed to put up that thread that i think should be discussed, Just because you don't like it because you cant see further than your nose does not mean you can derail or abuse me an any way shape or form..Do you understand that or not...just ignore and dont post and that goes for everyone else who tries to be the big boy.....Mods you know im entitled to start a post i and many others like me think its valid....sort posters out please and delete any post that is not on topic...TY
You don't get it do you...there is nothing wrong with the players, It the negative football that laudrup makes them play. Just look at the difference that Martinez and Rodgers have made to their new clubs and compare that to laudrups way of playing. Remember when we use to play like Liverpool and everton because i do and it's not like we dish up now and that is the managers fault. You don't win all your games playing like we use to but by god we would win or draw most of them and come out with huge credit if we get beat by a big club.....there is a hell of a difference now and we are surly going to blow all the work that has been done if we don't look at laudrups managerial skills, you can make all the excuses you can but that wont stop us sliding down the table towards relegation....my topic is a valid one...
Why is it a negative comment??? Its a valid comment, There is negative comments from all the posters on here including you about laudrup, so why when i say it it's out of order.....I can go back just a few days and find a stack of posts of negative comments regarding laudrup and you know i can.
...because Dai, we all know how you feel regarding Laudrup. There is no need to keep repeating yourself - we've heard you.
As much as I'm very frustrated with the way this season has gone, sacking Laudrup would not be the answer, and no way would Huw Jenkins wast money on sacking any manager, he and the board would simply ride out the storm until end of season, it's one of the reasons we never give any new manager a long contract. Saying that what if by the end of February our £65 Million Premiership income was in jeopardy? Then I think if push comes to shove the board will do it's best to secure our income stream regardless, and I could see them sacking Laudrup. What do I think the future holds? Well I see Laudrup doing enough to keep us up, and I do not see us going past Napoli with our current form, unless we strengthen our front line. Anyway in 5 months time Laudrup will be gone anyway, and we move on hopefully to some better football. PS: And when I say better football, whether it's Laudrup or our players, I'm not liking our games this season, and I think it's a combination of both manager and players, Laudrup needs to impose himself more on the dressing room, and pitch side, it was very pleasing to see him on his feet at Stanford bridge, more of that please Laudrup.
My question to you is also valid....who would you pick for the next 2 games if you were manager? As for the fault, I do look to the players. They are well paid professionals and sometimes their effort is questionable. I doubt that passing the ball between the back 4 in injury time was what ML wanted. He looked as frustrated as the commentators sounded. Under ML, for the most part, we have been tougher to beat and been more cutting going forward. That was not the case with BR. We were prettier to watch, but also frustrating at times, lacking a cutting edge....Sigurdsson added some edge in the Jan window, otherwise we could have gone down under BR. I can't comment on RM as he didn't manage us in the PL, but he was hardly hot stuff at Wigan was he? Given the squad and injuries we have, I doubt anyone could come in right now and do better....which brings me back to my question to you...if manager, who would you pick for the next 2 games and why?
