IF Sunderland somehow beat Arsenal and we beat Swansea then we could be 3rd at the weekend, and if a miracle happens and City also lose or draw too Soke (unlikely tbh) then we could end up being 2nd.

    anything can happen.

I expect on balance of probabilities that city will have a reaction to their loss and not be down.

I don't know what we'll do with the swans. i am hoping they will be a little flat after tonight's heroics and we should be having a full week to get tour chins up and decided to f'n have a go at this league now. (unrealistic but we must)

Arsneal could beat sunderland no question but they need to rotate back to giroud, carzorla and maybe rosicky. mr ozil is f'd and so is mr whilshire. borinin and johnson could be starved of possession by arsenal but who knows. sunderland could play for the draw... I don't know. This is the game IMO that we will see the true arsenal. win and get back on track and they could go win this league. lose or just play flat and draw 0-0 and the bottle accusations will be out in force.

I agree. Wouldn't it be ****ing amazing though if results go our way and we're 2nd in the league after the weekend.

But let's concentrate on winning our own games and if our rivals drop points then that's just a bonus <ok>

I think Arsenal have a big problem now with what to do with Ozil, its obvious that hes complete and utter ****e but hes so lazy that he is affecting the whole team now and I think its only a matter of time before he gets dropped, the problem then is you paid £42mil for a bloke that is barely good enough to be on the bench. Great business by Real Madrid to get rid of him and buy Isco for less.

look he is quality... the issue is real were happy at the higher levels to sell cos he only ever gave 60mins.

wenger has bought the guy and played him for 90mins. he's absolutely all in.... wenger had lots of these type of players but he's not managed the star he bought. Thats my opinion. Play the guy for 60-70 odd mins sub him to a standing ovation worship him as he walks off... whatever but play him every game for 90mins and you get a player who's run out of stamina and can't cut it.

With rosicky, carzorla, wilshere, walcott, ox, podolski and arteta he could have rotated him... 3 got long term injuries from that list too.

The guy is still bags of quality but you have to manage him. 42mil? thats where the grand plan fell apart. he needed more than one player to sustain.

arsenal to go for the cup?

    arsenal to go for 4th?

    who knows now.

The Everton FA Cup win was not part of the original 10 prediction fixtures. The Swansea game was postponed until after Chelsea.

I feel bad for Arsenal, they have played some good stuff all season and people were just waiting for the wheels to fall off but they kept going. Now it looks like the inevitable has happened, I think having Ramsey injured has cost them in this section of games he's clearly been their best player this season and wiltshire is not near the same level, combine that with Ozils disappearing act and its not hard to see why it happened. If Arsenal get a few decent players in the summer to shore up the gaps they might be challenging next year, but they have to secure 4th place first! but I'm sure they will as they are veterans at it.

Where have we heard that before? First it was, when our young players mature... then it was the same excuse (despite their young players being mid 20's, then it was when they finally spend some of that money they have... now they've spent that money, got a team with an average age of about 27... what excuse is next?

Don't want to be harsh to them as I don't mind Arsenal, but you can only keep making excuses for so long before people start questioning it.
