Have to say that for the first time this season, yesterday's game was the first one that i really couldn't be bothered to watch, it was too nicer day here to be stuck in doors watching a computer screen knowing that it would probably end in despair.....I followed the score via the mobile an social media and saw the highlights on MOTD and you know what it was nice not to have the stress.......what will be will be, it is after all only a game, there are far more important things in life....... The R's will continue to exist in whatever division be it Prem, Championship or League 1, I'll still manage to get over for a few games each season, still continue chatting on here, it's what we do......
A well worded piece there Flanman. As I am also 'one of the four', I feel we are entering a very worrying time which will be no 'walk in the park'. Like you, I feel when Bony banged in that last minute goal the game was up and, I'm pretty sure Harry knew it was all over as well, otherwise why weren't our defensive weaknesses addressed? Together, Harry and TF through their petty game of oneupmanship have f*cked our season totally. Relegation will bring the wrath of the Football League down upon us with the FFP fine and, worse still, a transfer embargo which will do far more damage to our prospects than what Harry managed with his lame signings. As you say, Fulham put faith in their youth and that was with a bunch that reached the Youth Cup Final yet they were out of their depth in the Championship. Our youth team is in one of the lower youth divisions and regularly get beaten at that low level, TF must be barmy trying to put such responsibility on our youngsters if that is his plan. It just shows that he hasn't a clue, chopping and changing plans mid-season and still getting it wrong. Next year is my 50th year supporting the Rs, in my lifetime I've seen a League Cup win, and a League Cup defeat. A pair of FA Cup Finals against Spurs, promotions and relegations, administration, buckets being passed round to help keep us afloat in our darkest hour and a team rebuilt from nothing. When we finally have an owner with the finance (?) to make a difference what happens? He f*cks it up monumentally, not once but twice. I don't ask much from my team, all I want to see is a side that plays proper football with players proud to wear the hoops. I don't expect too much, decent league form, and a cup run, any cup run just for a change. How great it would be to visit Wembley again, Reading have done it this year, why couldn't we? Just once in a while. Sadly, I just don't think TF understands what supporting QPR is all about and he's destroying us in the process...
