Black Sea Gas, you have to be the biggest cynic on Not 606. I do agree with one or two of your points but I think you are being much too harsh on DC. I do think he truly cares for this football club, and to me his tears at the end of last season did seem pretty genuine. It would be good to stay right behind him for now, but if results don't improve I would understand some of the calls for him to leave. I also think that most of the players are giving plenty in terms of effort; it's just a lack of quality which lets them down. I for one am prepared to be patient, as this is a transitional period for the club. Too much negativity won't help.
Sir Alex nearly got Man U relegated in his first season, they stuck with him and look at his record. I firmly believe that DC is the man to manage THE GAS and if we give him a fair crack of the whip I believe HE WILL BE SUCCESSFUL
Can't believe I started this post! You will be glad to know that I have had my head removed from my buttocks and am so glad that NH kept faith with DC.
football is a funny game. we all think and base things on a result basis. i was fully behind DC as you can see from previous old threads. but talking the talk is 1 thing. walking the walk is another and these early threads were based on those last 8 games of last season and after a poor start this season. you can forgive others and yourself for thinking the worse of DC as it wasnt looking good. but i was right
As I have said on other threads 6000/8000 managers per home game and we still couldn't pick a team that would have won all our games, I BELIEVE IN DC
