the worst thing is the atmosphere he creates around pretty much every club he has been at.

Well that's mission accomplished for Jose. Three years at the club, leave them in an absolute mess and get a huge pay off.

It's unbelievable how much denial there was from Utd fans

My reporter mate reckons it'll be Martinez. If not then Robben <whistle>

    Martinez does make some sense.

If Man Utd want to save a bit of money after paying out £24m for Mourinho then technically Moyes still has 6 months left at Utd <laugh>

Rumours are aplenty. The latest is Gareth Southgate. The coach of the year. He can’t be worse surely? But would he leave for an interim job?

The fact Utd said they would have caretaker manager for the rest of the season suggests they know this season is a write off and they will not get relegated. It also suggests they have someone lined up, or at least a target. Poch at Spurs must be favourite, but I hope he does not go to them.

Jeeezus is there any profession where one gets paid for incompetence like football? He gets a total payout equivalent to our total staff costs full year and we employ 1K people. Football is living in a bubble and I wouldn't mind to eat some of that gravy..

POCHETTINO: I AM FOCUSED ON SPURS

Gary Neville has suggested Mauricio Pochettino could be a candidate to become next permanent Manchester United - but the Tottenham boss has played down the suggestion.

Pochettino said: "I cannot answer this type of question. These type of rumours happen in this business, in football.

“A lot of rumours happen, but it is not my business what happened at another club. I am so focused in trying to deliver my best job at this football club.

"I want to send my best wishes to him (Mourinho). I feel so sorry, because I know him very well, I have a very good relationship with him.

“He is a very good friend. It is sad news what happened today."

Would be very funny to watch the Spurs meltdown if Poch joined Man Utd and took Eriksen and Kane with him <laugh>

Pochetino is Spurs. Without him, the team would be nowhere near what it is now. The classic team punching above its weight.

They lose him and they go out of the top 6.
