Still don't think they'd get relegated tbh. They're really missing cabaye. Will wait until the end of the transfer window to cast my verdict
Na they won't be relegated mate, they have a huge injury crisis but as soon as their top players come back, I think they will steady the ship. Mind you though it shows this is where they should have been last season but everything went their way, playing teams at the right time, no injuries, no suspensions. Now they are having a season like the rest of us always go through and they are being found out.
Pardew was in the casino the other night and I distinctly remember him ordering a pizza wth his chips I'll get me coat
It certainly blows the 'we weren't lucky' argument out of the water. If they were not lucky last season, they can't be unlucky this season. You either believe in luck, both bad and good, or you don't believe in luck at all.
So explain your appauling season then considering the minimal injuries/suspensions you've had and the fact you're only 2 points ahead of us. Infact would any of you like to answer that one?
We have had our fair share of injuries, the difference being we don't whinge about it like Pardew and his merry band of Skunks..
It must be something to do with pizzas....one thing goes wrong, and a lot more follows...it's the domino effect!!
Hopefully he'll have the full 8 years. All known examples of managers who have shown ability being given time regardless of difficult spells suggest you get richly rewarded. SAF, Wenger, Moyes, Pulis. Then look at the clubs have sacked managers at the first sign of trouble, Benitez at Liverpool, Reid at Sunderland, Robson at Newcastle................................... The pattern is pretty obvious, give managers time.
How can you say Reid was sacked at the first sign of trouble. He had us relegated at his first attempt at the premiership and didn't get us back up the next season, but we stuck by him.
