Well two in two years is a start, two more than you of course. I would reccomend cryogenics for you, the sooner the better.
GREAT THEY ARE WORTH THIS MUCH ... BUT THE TRUTH WEALTH : Come down to how much they intend to invest into the Club!
SaintDon13 (Your age maybe?) I was talking proper trophies Not a paintpot and runners-up in League One ..but I suppose you've got to start somewhere. Bless.
We don't like buying trophies by ripping off the taxman and then going bust. We prefer to invest in a stadium, youth facilities and a training complex.
How many season tickets sold at Fratton so far then? Is it more than the 6,000 I heard from a pompey supporting work colleague?
Chocky, what is it with you and LD. All you do is bang on about attendances and season tickets... I grew up in a time when Fratton hosted far larger crowds than you will probably ever see down the road but the old place is now so restricted that until it's developed (watch this space) we're never going to be in a position to compete with the Gasworks. Now the ownership has changed and we should be back on an even keel, you will see an improvement in attendances from last year but who really cares apart from you and LD ??
You care, you care very very much, otherwise why the comment about "far larger crowds than you will probably ever see". Which is utterly irrelevant to the here and now. After all Charlton once got crowds of 75,000, means naff all really in 2011. Personally, I think your attendances will improve next season, mostly because of the Milton End being full with Saints, Brighton & West Ham fans etc.
Good, means you can finally pay your tax bill and maybe some of the charities that were ripped off too.
Silly silly Scummer, surely you have realised that's not how things work down at Fratton? We don't have to pay our taxes, have you not heard? As for the comment about the charities, you really are quite simple aren't you (I'd suggest attending school more often, and leaving those ponies alone!). The charities have been paid in full + extra cash given, and it was the fans who paid them!
And you believe that do you? Oh look, here's plans for a new 36,000 stadium on the harbour. Oh look, there's the Fratton Faithful chanting "One Peter Storrie". Oh look, there's another fake Arab billionairre. Oh look, there's a new Russian billionairre who didn't have the funds to buy Bournemouth, but suddenly has enough to buy Pompey.
