No, no one has. Which makes them pointless, no? They going to catapult nukes at SK?

Every other nuclear power has. NK can barely fire a rocket properly, let alone get a nuke right.

Neither Russia nor China will do whatever it takes to stuff NK. If China stopped trading with NK that would be about 90% of NK's exports down the pan. If China stopped its free supply of oil and Russia stopped it's dodgy supplies of oil via various outlets, NK would be ****ed. But they won't. Funny that. I see that as being consistent with being "happy" to let NK progress their build up of nuclear weaponry as both would benefit from a weak US without having to risk their own countries. Is NK being seen as an opportunity by the East (ie NK effectively being used)?

You keep on saying that. What could NK do to weaken the US?

Russia and China have no beef with NK, it's none of their business.

Blowing up Guam would be a start. Enough to cause a strong reaction from US. Then it's anyone's guess what could happen. I wouldn't underestimate an insane dictator. I think it's a very delicate situation.

How would blowing up Guam 'weaken' the US? You do realise it's a ****ty nothing island in the middle of nowhere?

Maybe Britain would wade in. We have a history of protecting ****ty little islands like Gibralter, Falklands and Ireland.

Hardly. Guam is a key US military base occupying nearly 30% of the island (approx. 40,000 acres)

Tbh NK would thrash us in a war, their cavalry, archers and catapults would make mincemeat out of our Devs.

I doubt losing their military base in Guam would make the US panic too much. They would batter the **** out of any country right now, no one can stand up to them. It'd take some form of global alliance to take them down, and that's never going to happen.

    'Stand up to them'? <laugh>

Afghanistan isn't a real country, it's a dusty ****hole full of angry people that have blown each other up for ages. Winning a war there would involve killing most of the population.

Russia, China & NK combined wouldn't beat the yanks. Somebody has to be top dog in the world and as the UK can't be then I'm quite happy with the yanks being in that role.

I didn't look at the link but I know that the US spend more by % on defence than China do and the USA's GDP is almost double that of China's. Case closed.

When I lived in Taiwan a lot of people went there to renew their visa as they had to do it outside of Taiwan. A true and interesting story <ok>
