Sorry Ron, I'm only messing, I was being sarcastic about the Enigma.

Anyway, the yanks just made tank after tank which weren't nearly as good as the German ones but the yanks just kept pumping them out. Anybody who says the yanks didn't play their part is an idiot

*British that means Scotland too apart from a small piece of Ireland in Glasgow of course .
I would suggest Celtic fans should follow Jiffy' Ciaran's and all the other Anti British people and move to Saudi Arabia or even better Ireland .

'I think it's important in life to speak as it is, and the fact is that we are a very effective partner of the U.S., but we are the junior partner,' he said. 'We were the junior partner in 1940 when we were fighting the Nazis.'

    David Cameron, whilst UK PM.

Odd. Didn't Britain fight the war so that people like me and Ciaran could speak our minds with freedom and liberty, yet here you are suggesting we leave because we have a different viewpoint than you.

Typical right-wing Nigel with a blinkered take on history.

You posting some picture of a tree with squirrels on it that I can't even see doesn't make you right. Any English word that ends in ier or ion is French. Read Bill Bryson's book Mother a Tongue, very interesting<ok>

Any word in there what % it is? Serious question, as I think you saying that English is mainly Germanic is very wrong. Even surnames in UK tell you it is French. Beaumont as in beau mont meaning nice mountain etc

****ters throughout history have been recently given posthumous pardons in the name of Alan Turing.

The guy is a hero of mine. He is the father of computer programming and cryptographic analysis. A true ****in genius.
