Another defeat. this time totally thrashed, how long can Pennock keep his job. I know he has a limited budget but he looks totally clueless and made some bad decisions especially the way he has handled Nelson and Wright. If he is still there before Wimbledon think if we lose that one then thats it.
Getting really depressed.................oh for the days of Andy Nelson, Keith Peacock, Tony Pulis (Peter Taylor at his best) and Mad Dog :-(
Oxford exposed our weakness in every dept. If they had their 'shooting boots' on they could have easily doubled or even trebled their score with the amount of chances they created.Whatever happens at Wombledon there is a potential humiliation coming our way with next week's visit of our near neighbours free scoring Charlton Athletic. Will Scallywag be brave enoiugh to turn up to watch? If AP is still in job next Sunday then I think they will let him bumble on til Jan, when transfer window opens again and we have some money on the 'plate'.
Hopefully the sooner the better. Don't think the chairman will wait too much longer. Mad Dog only got 10-12 games and he was far more popular (and successful) than Mr 5 wins in 29 games.
Ady still hanging on Someone said he was doing 50 miles an hour coming out of training, only way hes going to get 3 points
Only another 48-50 to go then 46 / 7 = 6.5 x 3 = 19.7 Some how he's got to find another 31-34 points above his current ratio
Big backward step today. Pre season results flattered to deceive.....need to keep all players on the pitch for 90 minutes so there is a discipline issue too. The players that we have are just not up to the job in this league.......with a couple of exceptions. The trapdoor beckons.
