If we haven't been promoted by 2030, I think his position should be reviewed.

I fully expect us to be competitive next season, I don't think we'll go anywhere near the relegation zone and accordingly, I don't think there's any chance of him being sacked, even if we don't finish in the play-off's.

Articles like this are pointless, he wouldn't be sacked at Christmas even if we were bottom of the league, as the owners have complete faith in him and will definitely give him at least one full season.

You asked us for a simple answer but you asked two questions.
OK I'll give you mine...I expect us to be in the playoffs or very close to them next year, if we get auto wooo hooo great season!
If we are not in the top 6 by christmas I do'nt think we should be thinking of getting rid of NP thats silly.
Now if we are rock bottom at christmas then maybe we should think about finding a new manager but I very much doubt that is going to happen. Does that answer your questions simply enough?

I'm completely discounting it as a scenario, as I don't think for one minute we'll be bottom of the league at Christmas.

I hate to say this but I wouldn't blame Pearson for leaving as he's done a cracking salvage job for us, if he got offered the West Ham job I couldn't see any chance of him turning it down. I think any of the club staff reading posts like this would think we have some complete clowns for fans, so in the unlikely event that they do, it's worth pointing out that TWF is one of a kind. As I said before, who would we get as manager that would do a better job, not to mention Shakey and the backroom staff who have got so many good young players in this season. Makes me embarrassed to be a fan when I read threads like this, totally clueless.

I see no reason to even consider changing manager at this point in time. After the start of next season the majority of the players will be ones that he had input into choosing. I am not expecting miracles next season but I do not for one minute expect us to be in a relegation battle. Give the man chance to deveolop a team and I'm sure he will. I'm not expecting to to see the fruits of his labour manifest itself until year three. If we have a reasonable season next year then the club should consider an extension at that point. Am I right in thinking he has two years left on a three year contract?

Thats a reasonable question. I wont admit to liking the bloke ,some of his tactics are on a part with Brownies. i'll give him the benefit of the doubt for the start last season , but if were not in the top half mid november then he shouldgo. cant wait until december/january for a replacement.

Personally, if we are not in the top half of the League come the Jan. transfer window, we should consider getting rid of the Aslams', moving out of the Circle, and getting D.Lloyd back, and also Dowie!
At least we can then go to hell in a handcart!
Some of the posters' on here, and others', like TonyM, on other sites, would then be happy!!!

what a stupid topic.. the guy's barely been with us. his 1st season we were in all sorts of crap and he's had 1 transfer window (with some money) to get a few players in, and look what happened!! we broke our away record.

just look at his previous 3 seasons eh.. came close to getting us in the playoff's after a poor start (wasnt his fault), before that got leicester into the playoff's, before that got leicester promoted into the championship... not bad really is it.

your posts really are pathetic TWF, such an obvious cry out for attention its laughable.

TWF, Dr. Freud called, said your irrational hatred of Adam and Nigel Pearson is down to not being loved as a child and he'd loved to have a session with you to work on this. Or in laymen terms your boring, now shut up

I'm giving him 6'4" or about 3m in metric, and then I shall negotiate a price on the rest.

In the interest of inclusiveness I'm using the Isle of Man metric, which has the extra three feet.

I'd give NP two more seasons to be a side challenging for promotion. By then TWF will have finished his degree and he'll be very glad to toast NP as we move into the top flight.

Excellent trolling by TWF, lots of people sucked into his game. I really think he should put his wumming talents into his maths. He is certainly determined!

It takes good planning to come up with such nonsense.
