Pop on the Palace forum if you like, most of them are saying they were lucky to come out with a 2-0.

Not sure which highlights package you watched but I'm sure MOTD showed the Murray handball. Either way, you were wrong.

We have the best team out of that lot and will come good, we pulled of the greatest escape last season and will again this season, we should win at Chelsea AGAIN in our last match.

Er there's no wumming going on here on your forum or in this thread.

Yes we had a thread about your game, the result affects us. Some people are obviously taking the piss a bit. Bantz innit.

Noone did what Andy King Ballface does on our forum.

There's no huge rivalry or hatred, we're both fighting to stay up is all. Yes some of ours are a little obsessed with Nige but that's just a handful. At least we're not like the Mackems who all still harbour a grudge against Brucie.

To be totally honest I didn't read either thread that have been mentioned as neither appeal to me , I watched the game on sky so didn't bother with what I thought was just a match thread , and as for Pearson again couldn't care less what he does , wasn't that fond of him when he was here for antics similar to what he is doing now there's just a degree of total arrogance about the bloke that i don't like , having said that I don't automatically hate any team he manages have no ill feeling towards Leicester had a fair few nights out there when friends where at university there , would much rather Sunderland and Newcastle went down

Sunderland Newcastle and either QPR or Burnley would do me tbh. Long as it's not us. The red and black, and whites, would simply be awesome.

Don't think I actually said that.

I said Chelsea were an embarrassment to the PL for their lack of effort.

A ridiculous comment to make but as Happy as said my posts were just a piss take out of Andy Grays ball bag.

    Learn to read.

Good God. I've already said, in the very post you replied to, that I didn't say you weren't the better side, I just said you were fortunate that your first goal was allowed and that their goal was disallowed. There's not really any denying it.

They might have shown it (but not made a fuss about it), but I certainly don't remember them discussing after the highlights like they did the other two incidents. Whether they showed it or not, it didn't feel like a crucial incident, unlike the other two incidents.

So you make your mind up based on what Robbie Savage and Alan Shearer tell you?

MOTD might not have shown all the incidents, which is why you probably shouldn't call a team fortunate based on 3-5 minutes of highlights.

That's not what you said. If you'd said Brady and McShane were lucky, I would have agreed. What you said was "they [Hull] were very fortunate against Palace", which is completely different, it fails to account for the 2 penalties we should have had and in a nutshell, is complete bollocks.

You've selectively quoted me. I went on to explain exactly what I meant in my first post!

Penalty shouts don't get given all the time. I've given up counting how many we shouldn't have had this season. The ref/lineman missing a blatant handball which led to a goal and wrongly ruling out another goals are must more influential to outcomes. And it wasn't just two players that got lucky, because the whole team, by the rules of the game, should have been 1-0 down not 1-0 up! And with your finishing, I think you'd have struggled to come back from that.

Highlight programmes are pretty good at, you know, capturing highlights. I tend to think that when a partial fans says a highlight was missing, it's because they've exaggerated the importance of it in their mind.
