On weekends I dress like Oz from Auf Pet. Green shirt form the series, none of that gray nonsense from the Spanish ones.
Dress for comfort. During the day it is tracksuit bottoms and t shirt (shorts in summer). If I’m going out it is jeans. I do take pride in my Doc Martens and have them well polished if going to watch a live band.
When I was in it was boots was the first bit of kit 90% went and bought themselves. Still got 3 pairs in my shed, 2 black and 1 desert. Where the black ones when weather requires and deserts when doing anything in garden. Still going strong.
when i was in it was loafers levis sta pressed and ben Shermans, still have loafers all leather but a bigger size in the other items
Well all I do is walk in them did a 4 miler today.. had them 10 years. It was great to go to the shop/factory in Richmond to see them being made...
Fashion and styles change like the wind. When you see what the youth walk around like today, if I had walked around Red House back in the mid/ late 90s with todays fashion, I'd have been brayed up outside of Fred's paper/stationary shop. Shirts tucked in, white socks pulled up to the knee and black trainers and bowl haircuts. Back then if you didn't have Nike Air Triax, Adidas poppers, curtains and stunk of Joop, it was pointless going out.
In the 60s I was perhaps a cross-dresser, I quite likes Ben Sherman and levi stay- pressed trousers etc, so I should have had a scooter (Lambretta) but preferred a motorbike and had to dress accordingly and I had long hair.
You can nearly always tell what people were back in the day. I have a wardrobe full of fred perry polo shirts, numerous Levi 501 jeans, desert boots, Adidas trainers, flying jackets and a Harrington
bloody love Harrington's i have a black one and green one, desert boots were on issue, **** Adidas when you have a pair of Cole Hann loafers American imports, lets you glide at Northern soul and not forgetting a Crombie with lush lining, oh and a splash Emporia Armani
those scooters are absolutely lush mate but that new e10 will **** the carbs, the ethanol mix absorbs moisture and will rot the carbs
The e5 blew a hole in the piston of the blue tuned one mate but Asian garage that has suspect petrol as allegedly they all have E5 fooked the carb float on the white one, blew up like a puffer fish. Vespa has now gone.
