When was that then - must have been over 5 years ago.

Self awareness is not an easy thing to admit when your engaged in this sort of stuff and I admit I can get a bit carried away on times - but then again who doesn't?

Just for now then, and until the return game, can we call a truce and at least be civil on here?

As for shiny, you're right I do remember him being a plasterer. I asked him at the time how he was managing to hold the hawk with one hand, spread with the other, and type at the same time......<laugh>

Nope I own my own hotel now in Devon. I can’t talk to much **** about the welsh as they are my most regular guests. God bless the taffs

Who said anything about sexual connotations? I just said "fancy a date".

Now in your mind it may have implied some sort of liason, but you don't know that I'm not a lady or even a sheep for that matter. I might even wear a donkey jacket.

In mentioning "fancy a date" I was referring to February 24th - I fancy that date very much.

I know when we play them? but why would I fancy a date with him?

He needs to clarify why I would fancy a date with him as I am heterosexual and the only dates I have ever been on are with members of the opposite sex?

I don't like men in donkey jackets and I don't have dates with sheep?

I'm confused, is he making some sort of surreptitious suggestion? I would happily accommodate any request if its something normal but it seems sordid in some way hence he needs to make clear what he is suggesting??

I thought we'd agreed a personal truce until the next game but it looks like you're having none of it.

Most on here are up for a footballing chat and will go with the flow taking other's points of view on board but seemingly not you. I'll leave you alone now, I wouldn't want you to further tarnish your image in the eyes of your fellow posters.....<laugh>
