First stop is your local authority Planning department , find out what they know .

Then if they have no owner on their records , try the UK Land registry to see what they have on record ( as an institution that was set up fairly recently , their records on old abandoned property are often non-existent )

If both those say they have no owner , then see a solicitor who specialises in property , and get them to explain the law of " Adverse Possession " and of " Squatter's rights " to you .

Dont go into this thinking that because it is abandoned you can easily grab it . UK law is very much on the side of the actual owner , even if they dont know they own it , even if they have deliberately neglected it .
Local authorities have recently been given extra powers to take over houses in bad condition , and sell them on to developers , but the law here is understandably cautious about people like you .
You are taking a risk because if the real owner DOES come out of the woodwork , then you will have a first class law case on your hands , and the only ones who will gain will be the lawyers .

This may sound like shoite. But is the site an eyesore?if so and it looks out of place with surrounding structures you can place an add in the local rag to run for 28 days.No takers? It's yours then.

i tell you where it is ,blackheath park just outside the main gates ,ive tried the council they say its not run by them gave it up to the queen estate ,ive contacted them they say its not owned by us basically i am given the run around, such a lovely property with a woodern fence all around it and a pool next door ,now im thinking with all the coaches parked outside could be turned into a cafe for the drivers ,this is seriously winding me up .This property can be passed on to us and we do it up but havent a ****ing clue who owns the place its just left to rot is this right to allowed to happen?

So, if I understand the OP correctly, he wants to know how he can squat the premises that he and his pals put out of business during the riots.

Whit a disgusting scum **** he is.

He appears to want to take over premises that have been abandoned, Gambol.
