    They still played with fear and confusion. Afraid to tackle hard, as well. Scared of getting cards and looking bad in front of their new manager, seeing as all the transfer talks must have been eating away at the players labeled less-than-worthy, even by a lot of the supporters who used to support them.

    But the manager can only do so much. He'll bark his orders and then the rest is up to the players when they get out there on the pitch. But to do it like that, what do they expect? They can't expect to stay in the squad if they don't perform, and obviously with all these new ones coming in, MH has grand designs.

    But may be - they all figured that it's OK to let the FA Cup go, that they should really focus on the league.
    It certainly looked like that to me.
