West Ham, West Brom and Everton be if they think that appointing Moyes, Pardew and Alladyce is the answer?

Not a single trophy between them yet they still get work.........

Top flight football is truly screwed.....

Indeed. All this guff about foreign managers stopping young Brits getting jobs. Old Brits are stopping young Brits getting jobs.

Allardyce I can understand just about. Pardew and Moyes though. ****ing Moyes.
 
West Ham and Everton are clearly running scared from foreign managers now. West Brom have always been pretty conservative and unambitous I think.

The only way a youngish British manager with potential can get into the Premiership is being promoted, or spending years as the number two to Champions League winners like Clement did.

I cannot believe Everton sacked Ronald Koeman and replaced him with Big Sam? Are they that worried?

Then they can have Ryan Giggs, and sack him pretty fast too.

Only worth it if you gave him 5 years, and would still probably go tits up. Might as well stick with the Gnome, at least the players try hard for him.

Koeman came across terribly IMO. Exceptionally arrogant for no reason and I think he truly had ‘lost the dressing room’. Still, some of the blame there surely has to go to Steve Walsh for the recruitment.

They are in genuine relegation trouble so I understand the conservative appointment.

Seems to be a lot of Dutch managers not doing too well and Dutch football is not exactly filling the back pages

The youth academies get pillaged by bigger foreign clubs now which hurts their first teams though that doesn't explain a lack of decent Dutch managers. Generalising a bit but they tend to have quite an aloof way about them- it's not rudeness but can come across that way. Just look at our very own JFH.

I work with a few Dutch people and they are the most direct bunch on earth. Say it as they see it and spare no feelings. It’s just they way they are, they tell me they are like that with each other too. As soon as I learned they can take it as well as they give it I rather warmed to them.

Don't you just wish you were one of these guys on the managerial money-go-round?
Sign a three year contract
Suffer a run of 10 or so poor games and get sacked while being paid for the rest of your term
Enjoy 18 months or so doing TV punditry until people forget how useless you were last time around
Sign a three year contract...
