It's great! If it's legal and inmates smoke it in jail... So what, it's legal. It doesn't restrict me from doing anything and in fact greatly improves my concentration levels. This war on weed **** needs to stop, there's 19 prisons closing and redundancies galore in the dutch prison system. If anything people smoking it within a prison will generally be calm and give the screws no trouble. It's the people who drink and use hard drugs that invariably get into trouble, not cannabis users and that's a fact. Once it's legalised you take the 'illegal trade' away which reduces crime. Have a good research on cannabis, there's much more positives that come from it than negatives. It's medical uses will probably shock you. It's used all around the world by mental health, arthritis and MS sufferers etc etc.. as medication. I read about a young girl who took up to 300 fits a day, basically spent her life shaking. Doctors used the goodness from cannabis buds and now the young girl has a fit once in a blue moon
But prisoners aren't allowed Alcohol are they, so why would you let them have weed? Weed would require strict legislation like Alcohol. Age limit, driving under the influence (*unless you have a doctors note) ect. They gave up their liberty's when they got sent down so there's noway they'd be allowed it would they? Unless of course they sneak it in but they do it now anyway.
Exactly mate! No matter where people are there will always be a way to get it. 10 quid a joint of solid and 20 quid for a joint of weed. Big bucks in there.
