If you have either - a) A season ticket b) Valley Gold card c) Charlton 'Red Card' You just turn up at the gate and show the security guards your ST or Cards and they let you in
I might try that out next time. Sparrows Farm is easily walkable, then afterwards in the Beehive for a few cheeky beers.
We should try and do a Not606 meet up, catch a Youth game, some time in the future. That is if the old lot fancy chilling with the young lot.
Just hit the over 30 barrier last year. Annoying as last time I was in the states people didn't ID me, so I felt old.
50 next year, but it's a long way to come for a pint or two. Do some updates on here and I'll follow it from my sofá (or get Richard Murray to video it!!)
Vodka Revolutions Bar. Gone a bit downhill recent, they closed the one in Soho, made it into some swanky fish restaurant much to my dismay. I reckon we should do Bar Termini in Soho, Adventure Bar or Dirty Martini? Followed by a quick go in The Hippodrome Casino, followed by late night Blues and Jazz in Ronnie Scotts (for the older crowd).
You don't work in the city by any chance do you? Those are definitely city boy ''hot spots'' . Well, minus Ronnie Scotts.
Anyone still go to Ronnie Scott's? I used to go a lot when Ronnie Scott ran it, but when the new foreign owners took it over I stopped going because they changed the feel of the place, put up the prices and stopped the concessions for musicians. It just wasn't the same so I lost interest and stopped going.
Yep, work up town. Know loads of bars etc., up there but very little locally. Hate going to Bexleyheath way. Don't mind Blackheath or Greenwich
Despicable and heartbreaking scenes in Paris tonight. This is why letting all and sundry in is a massive massive problem. It's inevitable that it will happen here in the near future. Although the police have done a sterling job thwarting many attacks so far.
