Evidently, yes! Lets face it, we cannot get enthusiastic about the rugby as England have let us down, albeit we were in the worst group possible. In footballing terms is like being in a group with Argentina, Germany and us. Our international matches are going to be as boring as going over to your grandma's as a six year old, who never had SEGA. At least when discussing the Spice Girls, I still have no idea what a f****** zig-a-zig-ah is?
I went to the One Inn The Wood pub in Petts Wood; walked from Sidcup to Petts Wood via the 'countryside'. It was very nice; the pub is a small ale house (Micropub!) with local beers and decent homemade food like sausage rolls and pork pies from Denis of Bexley. Nice warm atmosphere too. Thoroughly recommend it there.
Is that the one near Daylights? Round the corner from the Mexican place, nearly next to the curry house? Petts Wood and Chislehurst is my drinking ground. Don't get chavs and undesirables.
Only just noticed that Michael Smith has left Swindon for Barnsley on loan until January with an option to purchase. He was doing OK at Swindon, so what was the thinking behind that? Looks like a sideways move, neither a promotion nor demotion. He is a Tynesider, so moves him much nearer to "home", but I cannot imagine that was much of a factor. I was not too sorry when he left. Thought it in his own best interests, but looking at our attack yesterday, he would have improved the balance.
Just read something funny. Tommy Docherty, criticisng Tony Hateley's ability along the ground, said that his passes should be labelled "to whom it may concern". Sounds equally appropriate for Makienok's flick-ons.
Re Smith - might have something to do with the fact the chairman sacked the manager and has put himself in charge of the club. Don't go getting ideas, Roland.
christ, he'd put murray up front, katrien would be the physio, jacko would be serving chips and the rest of the team would be made up of 4th division hungarian 14 year olds
http://www.newsshopper.co.uk/sport/...ng_dramatic__there_s_no_chance_of_relegation/ Mr Bacon... you are a fool Sir if you think there is no chance of relegation!... I can't help feeling Wigan Club apologists were saying exactly the same thing in October last year.
"A fool and their Championship status are easily parted" .... AllHell 2015 I wonder if MrBacon is part of CL by any chance?
Read this on the train to Manc today - the guys an idiot. I'm personally going to respond to it. That or it's KM's pen name?
