I can’t agree with you there, you don’t make PM without being a very talented politician (with Ted Heath the possible exception) . The PM is also a decent human being dedicated to public service -she is struggling with a problem that would have tested every politician over the last 100 years. I am perhaps privy to some feedback that others cannot see, and amongst apolitical folk in this country, she is still very well regarded.

She is doing a fantastic job.

Quite right. In most areas, you look to promote people with ability, not their political views. The fact that Corbyn surrounds himself with that level of backup is one of my problems with him.
I would assume that Fiona Onasanya would stand down now 8speeding, then lying) but that sort of honour seems a thing of the past among politicians generally. The Tories bought back a whip who had been removed for sending dodgy messages to women, just to smooth over the no confidence vote in May, and when Teresa May won, the loathesome Rees Mogg felt she shouldn't abide by the result, but stand down. Odd view for someone who feels the Brexit vote should stand forever.

She can remain an MP even if she goes to jail, as long as her sentence is not more than a year<yikes>

Yeah, that's the letter of the law. The reality is that if you aim to be in government and pass laws, you possible need to have a government that keeps to them. Call me old fashioned but my view is someone needs to take her by the elbow and explain she has messed up and should step back into the background.
But hey, I live in Spain - being an MP here seems to be regarded as an opportunity to steal anything that isn't nailed down, and if you get caught,no worries, your party will contend that it never happened and anyway, the other side are worse.

This is good news for us. I have been very impressed with Jed Steer this season.

Croatia and Gent keeper Lovre Kalinic has passed his medical at Aston Villa and he is set to seal his move to Villa Park on Friday. [HASHTAG]#AVFC[/HASHTAG]

She’s giving it 100% in the most difficult set of political circumstances since the War. Yes, she has made many mistakes, but name me one other who you could confidently say could do a better job?
Calling the election then losing her majority made her walking wounded.
I admire her tenacity, but have no personal sympathy because of Windrush.
