A friend of mine who worked in housing tried defending them at a meeting some years ago when they were being removed from a site, and she was rewarded by them with threats and abuse.
Can't you have a word with some people at work to get the Home Secretary involved? It would be very popular in South London if she told the Met that they were paid to defend 'law abiding' citizens NOT scumbag thieves. If this guy had been a terrorist and shot by the police would they allow a shrine?..... Both Burglars and terrorist are criminals, I can't see the difference?
They are a law unto themselves & sadly this sort of comment from the police reinforces their sense that they are untouchable. The only time they want to opt in to civilised society is to claim benefits.
They have undoubtedly got worse and worse over the years. There used to be a certain romantic mystery about gypsy women. A friend of mine shagged a gypsy woman in Ireland, and she peeed the bed, and blamed him. 100% true story.
Against my better judgment Elf you have tempted me to have a look while I am down there. I need a new Barbour wax jacket and a pair of Hunters wellies ready for the Pompey bogs.
F*** that, you need a new wardrobe. Driving down in this would be better. please log in to view this image
Bradford City V Shrewsbury Town tonight... Absolutely last chance for Bradford - a win would lift them to 10th place and 6 points behind the play-off places with 6 games still to play. Their play-off hopes would be hanging by a thread, but they would still have a game in hand over most of the teams around them.
Diane Abbott has just crashed and burned on Radio 4 on Syria. "How would a Labour Govt resolve Syria" Diane - "Through the UN" "But Russia has blocked the last 6 resolutions " Err... "Are there ANY circumstances in which you would support military action anywhere?" Diane..."World War Two" If it wasn't so sad and serious, it would be laughable.
We know why she's got the position, and it's not on merit. TBF the present home secretary made a fool of herself recently by claiming that crime figures were not related to police numbers.
Had a pleasant Sunday tainted by passing the spanner that is Morisson in Beckenham. I did not ask for a selfie.
If the truth be known the extension to his contract was probably made to coincide with a testimonial. He'll then retire and get a job working with the development squads.
According to the O/S his knee is preventing him from training properly - they had hoped to nurse it. I think he would have played in the Premier League but for his knees.
